    Purchased this TV in November. Placed it in a game room in the house with little usage. I had several encounters where the TV would not turn on. However, after several attempts or unplugging it for a few minutes it would tune back on. Yesterday, I went to tune it on during the 4th of July celebration and all I get is a black screen. No sound or picture. I am throwing it in the garbage and not purchasing Samsung again.

    This was my 3rd purchase/install using Geek Squad. This Samsung 65in was a bargain but the better deal was paying for the Geek Squad Service. Fast, friendly and helpful!

    Just under a year later and now the tv is not responsive consistently and it's turning itself off and on and adjusting the sound too loud or totally off.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly.

      Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

      If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution.

    We love this new tv. It was really quick to set up. I just suggest not to have the voice activated during set up. She says every letter you click over. Other than that it was great!

    Good television so far. Slightly unhappy with the fact that I turn the sound to the tv speaker, it still plays through the soundbar, yet when its on optical its the soundbar only. This could be my own ignorance, however.

    this tv is nice. it goes goblin mode and absolutely juices up a living room with its INSANE visuals. It's pagman and I'm excited to keep using it.

    Hard to set up local channels, needing to go in store and purchase antenna that will let me watch my local channels, not happy, please don't have fire stick, picture is not as good as cable

    This Samsung tv is amazing! Wall-Mounted it and it looks great! Big size, fairly easy use. Only complaint is that there is only 2 HDMI ports, but that wasn’t a deal breaker! 9/10!
