The only thing that bothers me about it is the fact that it sometimes lags when using the remote. Also, the volume fluctuates a lot which I find strange.

This TV's UI is clunky, actions are slower to take place, sound & picture quality are inferior (compared to the 6000), but it is still a great TV. I only complain, because you'd think a newer series would be better. I wont stray from Samsung because they make great products, but if you can afford a more the better more expensive models, do yourself a favor (I should have). I would still recommend this TV to those on a tighter budget seeking quality.

First, let's make sure that you are running the latest software. To do so, go to Settings>Support>Software Update and update if needed.
Next, you may also want to optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory further, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
To improve picture quality, go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: It is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

Only thing I’m not a fan of on Samsung is the tv seems to freeze up and need a head reset from time to time. I have an LG TV too and never have that kind of issue.
