Ok display, terrible interface

It sustained damage and I replaced it with this Samsung TV and honestly am pretty disappointed. The remote on it is slow and terrible to use, the TV user interface is TIZEN and it is super slow and buggy. I am thinking that I will ultimately have to buy a Google Chromecast to get a better interface but that totally defeats the reason I bought this smart TV in the first place.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concerns. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues with your remote. There are a number of reasons why your remote may not be working. The most common are physical damage, battery issues, pairing issues, or issues with the infrared sensor on the remote or TV. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps.
1) Reset the remote by removing the batteries & pressing Power for 8 seconds. Then reinsert the batteries.
2) Check to see if the remote is sending/receiving an infrared signal. You can check whether the signal is being transmitted by pressing the power button and observing the front tip of the remote control through the camera on your smartphone. If you do not see the IR light, replace the batteries with fresh ones and try again. If you still do not see the IR light, then replace the remote. If you see the IR light, turn on your TV using the control on the TV directly. Then, try controlling the TV again by pointing the remote directly at the Samsung logo.
If the remote still will not work, contact our Support Center to request service.
