It has white shadows in the left hand corner at the top and bottom, and it's dark at the left edge. During some scenes and with the elongated wide view on movies, the white shadows and dark edge on the left can be clearly seen, but when watching a show that takes up the entire screen, it can't. Not sure what to do, but I do know I am not a happy customer. One thing that's good is the color on the rest of the screen. Crisp, vibrant, and amazing to watch. I just wish I could have that experience with the entire viewing surface. Brand new, cost a good amount of money, and there are defects in the screen.

We are glad you reached out to us regarding the display issues you are seeing on your Samsung TU7000 TV. I have a few recommendations that may resolve the white shadows and dark spots you are seeing on your screen.
First, let's make sure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, run a diagnostic test. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. If there are no issues during the Picture Test, your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines.
- If the shadows still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
- If shadows appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.
