    Terrible picture for dark scenes

    The picture of this TV (DURING WELL LIT SCENES) is perfectly fine and great for the price. However, any dark scene comes up and you won't be able to see anything! I tested this out on numerous different movies and shows that are known to have some dark scenes like; Pirates, Star Wars and Ozark. You can't see any details in the dark scenes whatsoever. I have messed around in the settings, I have googled the issue to see if there was a "fix" but there is nothing. I ended up returning the TV and started looking into better options. Avoid if you want quality picture in ALL scenes. Not to mention the Samsung operating system was really laggy and not very user friendly.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. I am very sorry you are viewing scenes that appear too dark. Samsung is aware of the problem, and a new firmware update will be released soon to address this issue.

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
