To address your lag issue, you may want to run the self-diagnosis tool.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

Technological glitches

Will randomly close you out of the app that you are watching. The sound is weird. During a show you can barely hear anything and then when a commercial comes on it’s blasting the volume. Not impressed.

Your issue is possibly a source issue. You can try auto volume Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
May also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test
