    I am taking this TV back as soon as I get a chance, the picture quality is horrible, the colors as washed out, terrible picture... Take it from me, is worth paying extra and getting something you like, than to watch a poor image quality for the next ten years!!!

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

      You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

    Got this TV during Black Friday. I guess it’s worth it for what I paid for it. It would’ve been nice to have more than just two hdmi ports. Also for some reason the tv turns itself on by itself which I find very strange.

      Hi Tony,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000. We appreciate your feedback regarding the connections featured on your TV, as well as the issues you are experiencing with your TV powering itself on.

      Sometimes connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the TV to turn itself on.

      If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.

      Additionally, if you are using an external device through HDMI, it could also cause the auto power on as Anynet+ is set on.

      Occasionally, connected devices such as game consoles or cable boxes send turn on signals, for example, if they have software updates.

      We recommend you to try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on.
      Go to Setting- General - External Device Manager - Anynet+, then Disable (toggle button)

      If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our TV Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

    Poor depth of blackness. Dark scenes in movie are almost impossible to see. The plastic screen of the LCD creates a grey like reflection on the most important thing of this TV, the entire 65" display. It's like watching a movie at a drive-in where any light in the room casts a grey smoky like effect. Very disappointed in the remote as well. No pointer feature like the other Samsung remote, you have to always use the arrows keys to type and/or select anything on the screen. Perhaps this the reasons this model line was so inexpensive. I would avoid the model Samsung at all cost. Spend the extra couple hundred and get the better model. You will thank yourself later.

      Please also make sure you are running the latest software version. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV.

      Go to Settings>Support>Software Update

      Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update.

      New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update
