Freezes every now and again and it randomly gets these dots all over it like its having issues focusing on the picture. But other then that its a decent TV.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV not displaying properly. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Check the antenna and input cable connections
2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections
3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines
4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
(Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception
You will also want to run Device Care by going to: Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and sharing your experience with adding apps. Here are some things you can try:
1) Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
2) Remove apps you no longer need. From the Home screen, go to Apps > Settings > delete your apps from here
3) Turn automatic updates on. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Defective TV

Please know that we are here to help you. First, I recommend ensuring your Firmware is up to date. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, let's run a picture test to ensure there are no issues with the TV. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test.
If the issue appears during the test, there are a few possibilities.
1) Check all cables to ensure they are fully connected and in good shape.
2) Turn off Power & Energy Saving modes. Go to Settings> General> Power & Energy Saving> Brightness Optimization
3) Unplug TV from electrical source for 30 seconds.
4) Perform a factory reset. Go to Settings> General> Reset

Worked great for the first 3 weeks

There is now just a black screen, we still have sound, just no picture. Contacted Samsung and they are sending someone to our house to check it out, however, it is taking them over a week to get to us, we are still waiting for it to be fixed. Very frustrating, we've never had issues with Samsung products until now, hopefully this is just an isolated incident.

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation.
2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
Please refer to pages 135 – 140 step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.
