    Have had good luck with the Samsung brand in the past, but not this time. Have had it less than a month and it's frozen up twice making a loud noise. You can't turn it off or do anything, have to unplug it from the wall for it to come back to life. Also it just stopped recognizing my PlayStation with HDMI. Thought maybe it was a bad cord, so I swapped it out, but made no difference. Will be exchanging it for something different.

    I enjoy my tv for the most part but I rather gotten another tv that I was use to using because it don't have any good apps at all unless your streaming for tv shows and music.

    Garbage was gifted the 60" that had a blacl line down the center. Now the black on black picture is distorted

      I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing display issues on your TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you.

      The issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps:

      1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet.
      2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback.
      3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV.
      4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box.
      5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required.
      6. If the problem continues, please check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and make sure that your TV supports the video output mode.
      7. Run a picture test. Go to Settings> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Picture Test.

    After using it for 6 months, it has slowed down on us and we only downloaded 3 apps. Disappointing but I get you get what you pay for.

    This tv is very slow and it freezes at times. It's definitely not my internet connection as my other samsung tv works just fine.

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

    I ultimately returned this and went with the TCL S546. There was a promo and I figured the display quality was better

    Aesthetically amazing, audio was good, sharpness was appropriate, colors were nice, BUT IT PROHIBITIVELY DARK. In any low light scene you can absolutely forget about seeing anything. There is no differentiation between darks and everything is so dark the entire screen might as well be off. I am trying to be fair but there is so much content out there involving low light scenes that it really makes the TV unusable.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. I am very sorry you are viewing scenes that appear too dark. Samsung is aware of the problem, and a new firmware update will be released soon to address this issue.

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    You get what you paid for. Price was awesome for the TV size. But picture quality was poor. I ended up returning the TV and pay a little more to get a better quality.

    For some reason this tv needs to be unplugged daily for it to turn on. Not sure what the issue is but I have never experienced this with a new tv.
