Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for sharing your review. We appreciate you sharing your experience with no sound from your TV. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

      1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.

      2) Set Sound Output to TV Speaker by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output

      3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto

There was only a 15 day return policy on this TV. We purchased for a second house, and after a few weeks the picture quality deteriorated. We get pixilation, blurry pictures, and a grainy look from time to time. Not happy with this purchase at all. I gave it two stars because it at least works and the picture quality is intermittent.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:

      1) Check the antenna and input cable connections

      2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections

      3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines

      4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
(Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

I normally NEVER leave reviews. But I feel like I should help everyone out with this one. This TV is way too big for someone to drag to their house and feel regret instantly. I finally put the TV up yesterday and what a disappointment. The screen looks sooooo bad. The picture is completely grainy with there’s a bright scene. Anytime there is a scene where it’s night time or it’s a dark image the screen is pixilated. The only thing 4K about this TV is the fact that it says it on the box. We tried playing around with the color settings and picture modes and it did not help. Also the smart hub is so annoying. It keeps popping up on the screen and won’t come off until you take it off. I am so sad that this TV didn’t workout. I am returning it tomorrow. The saying you get what you pay for definitely applies to this purchase. I expected a lot more from Samsung. I should’ve stuck with what I know.

      Bear:

Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing some lag with your unit.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concern with lag.

As for the lines you are seeing on your screen, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
