To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update.

Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Stoped working soon after purchased

The tv stoped working a little bit after a month. Repaired under factory warranty. The entire screen was replaced. This happened today. We’ll see how long it is going to last.

Run a Sound Test by going to :
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test
For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information

Crappy tv and service. Geek squads a joke

I had the protection plan so I was lucky there. So far I've been disconnected 5 times after waiting on hold trying to get this squared away. I have also been stood up on 2 appointments they had set up from 8am to 12pm so I have missed a complete days of work waiting on these clowns who didn't even have the courtesy to call and cancel. I have bought my TV's from best buy thinking I'd get better service then somewhere like Walmart but that's obviously not true. From now on I'm goin to Walmart where I'll atleast get a better price.

TV screen keeps flickering won't stop

Some times it won't stop even after turning off and turning on, and have to do it multiple times. I took a video of TV flickering, but cannot attach in the review here. I tried contacting the Samsung customer support, but even after long waits on the phone, I am still not able to connect to the customer support. I have crossed my return deadline and cannot even return the TV. I request the customer support to replace this item.

If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.
Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting
Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device.
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
Try the following troubleshooting steps to check your remote.
1) Reset the remote by removing the batteries & pressing Power for 8 seconds. Then reinsert the batteries.
2) Check to see if the remote is sending/receiving an infrared signal. You can check whether the signal is being transmitted by pressing the power button and observing the front tip of the remote control through the camera on your smartphone.
