      I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your TU7000 TV. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, try adjusting the following settings

      You can try Dynamic Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic

      Or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking.
      Go to Home> Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness

      You may also want to adjust the Contrast, Sharpness, Color, or Tint (G/R) in the Expert Settings.

      We also recommend that you adjust the settings of your Power Saving Mode.
      Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update. (1420.0 released on 1/5/21)

      Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using, and the new version is the latest update.

      New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.

      Thank you for your review of the TU7000 TV. If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.

      Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
      Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
      Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode
      Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting
      Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer

      Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device.
      Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

    Picture quality was hit or miss. Remote has terrible layout with no backlight so you’re accidentally always pressing the back button on accident. Sound quality not great. Live sports was blurry. We took it back and bought the Lg Nanocell 2021. We like it a lot more.

    I have had several times the tv has woke me up coming on and it has lost sound when changing channels causing me to have to turn the tv off then back on to get sound . It is also slow at changing channels

      1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.

      2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service.

      3) Try pressing the TV Power button at the bottom of the TV behind the Samsung logo to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control. If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.

      Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

    I purchased this based on the salesperson’s recommendation, I tried to like it. Spent several hours trying to get a decent picture to no avail. Dark scenes were unwatchable. Cut my loss and returned and purchased an LG 8500, granted it’s more money but for a sub $1,000 TV it’s pretty awesome.

    Disappointing - DO NOT BUY THIS TV

    Defective TV… turned off completely and won’t work, even after two visits from technicians from Best Buy and Samsung. The issue was fixed temporarily but the TV stopped working again conveniently outside of the warranty. Now we are stuck with a TV that won’t turn on with no choice but to throw it out and buy a new TV because customer service supervisor Lynn at Samsung refuses to assist as it’s not part of their process when a TV is out of warranty. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this TV - if you do, you may not have a working TV after 6 months….
