Color quality sucks

It is really big and looks nice. The colors are kinda weird..washed out or something. If it wasn't such a hassle we'd return but it's watchable once you get over the washed out colors. Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Screen Flashes for No Reason

It only just takes turning it off and on to fix it but the problem is quite persistent and annoying. It is also not very user friendly and hard to connect to other devices. Sometimes it does not connect to my Apple TV at all.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.
Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting
Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device. Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

Great tv, but not worth the money

Don’t get me wrong, the tv is great, but a month into it and it already has the issue? And it’s bad too. Never had an issue with any of my other Samsung’s.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues turning your TV on. you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
(1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.
(2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service.
(3) Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control.
(4) If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control

Great bargain

Very Slow Software

I checked for updates and its in the current one. It would take several seconds to open the menu then frozen screen when loading to open next app. Some times 4k movies/series from Netflix pauses image but audio still playin in the background, its not because of the wifi being too weak/slow I have 300mb upload 300mb download or more. While watching a video on YouTube, image started blinking really fast. If this continues I will return the tv

TV woes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to give this TV the lowest rating because exactly three weeks after we took delivery of it, it broke and broadcast what I learned is called X-Ray picture. The GeekSquad took very good care of us and Best Buy replaced it fully. Four days after the replacement TV was delivered, it also developed X-Ray TV. Once again Best Buy and the GeekSquad had to come to the rescue and order a third TV for us. If this one goes, I will have to challenge Best Buy 's good will and demand compensation for this defective TV. The GeekSquad assured me that the defects I was experiencing, according to Samsung, was extremely rare indeed, so I was therefore willing to take one more chance. So far,so good.

Very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed with this TV- within 2 weeks of having it a line appeared across the screen- I had to go through Samsung to get this repaired. After it was repaired within 3 weeks the screen just went completely black- just having sound. This has been a nightmare being able to get a new TV, delivery and installation rescheduled. I will never buy Samsung again- this actually happened to me 8 years ago with a Samsung (black screen)- I was lucky enough to be able to get another brand b/c I had purchased the extended warranty. You would think they would have had this bug fixed and what are the odds this happened to me again. Getting the LG now- can’t wait to see how that works.

Do not buy

Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Volume issues

Its not the top of the line, so I knew it would be a little less responsive then a more expensive TV. I could deal with the lag, but my issue was the volume. The show or movie or tivo would start out super quiet then if I fast forward it would get louder. It did that every time I went from one show to another. I bought a soundbar and it still did it, so I returned it. I don't recommend since there seems to be a lot of issues with the TV.

Freezes all the time

I have to unplug and plug it back in almost every day because it freezes and no buttons on the tv or the remote work. Also can’t get any of the subtitles to work on the Samsung tv app.

You can have your TV perform a self-check to diagnose the issues you are experiencing.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds.
You are able to turn on captions and other accessibility settings by holding down the Mute button. This will display the Accessibility Shortcut menu. From there you will be able to select features such as Captions, Voice Guide, Enlarge, etc.

Disappointing

1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections
2. If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (which looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same in all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

Stopped working

But good thing it’s under the company warranty and Samsung will come out to fix it. The standby light was blinking for several days.
