Don't buy!!

I would have had to connect a sound bar to be able to hear it. It was horrible. Plus it wouldn't let me add the cbs app. Trying to force me to pay for Paramount ➕. The pictures look fake on it. Don't mind Paramount or a sound bar but I'll NOT BE FORCED to have to get either one to be able to watch a TV. I guess it would be a good tv for gamers but that's about it!!

Okay quality Tv

The tv is very slim, and setup was very easy.

Piece of crap!

I had problems with this 6 months after buying it, and too late to return it. It has completely gone out on me. Don’t waste your money on this particular series of Samsungs. I’ll never buy this brand again.

Nice Tv.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues turning your TV on. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
(1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet.
(2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service.
(3) Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control.
(4) If the TV turns on, your issue may be with the remote control

Beware

Best Buy sent a tech to fix the problem several times without success after changing many parts in the TV. Finally, they replaced the TV with a new one, but I had to struggle with them before this happened. Now 9 months later I am having the same problem. Here we go again...........This tv has a very short life span.

Cracked Screen

I'm sorry that your TU7000 TV will not turn on. Please know we are here to help and have a few troubleshooting tips for you to try.
Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. If it is on, it means that your TV is receiving power and the culprit is likely the remote. Please try to power the TV on through the button below the Samsung logo. If it powers on, I recommend changing the batteries on the remote and possibly replacing the remote.
If the red light below the TV is not on, please try the following:
1) Unplug the TV from its power source for 30 seconds. Then try to power it on again.
2) Try a different outlet that you have confirmed works properly
3) Press the Menu button on your remote. If the Menu appears, then this confirms your TV is powered on. Next, follow these steps:
・Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
・Test the HDMI cable. Go to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.
・Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port.
If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.
Finally, if the red standby light is blinking, please try unplugging the TV for 30 seconds and then try again. Also, confirm that the outlet you are using works with other devices.

Please know, the TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

CHEAP TV EVER

Had to get tech support to come out first people never showed , re made the appointment as new install and then someone show up to tell us we need new TV. liked because of price , but you get what you pay for!

Amazing Picture!

Clear, crisp picture with 4K that makes you think you could step right into it, and the sound is actually terrific! The set up was super easy with an intuitive remote and easy settings. It came packaged very well, with a lot of Styrofoam protecting it. There are all kinds of channels available to access through the guide, which is great! Good bye cable! All the apps you want are right here, and if you don't see the one you want you can search for it and find it easily. I'm impressed with this TV, there are 2 HDMI ports in the back and considering all the apps that are on it that seems like enough. I definitely recommend this TV, I've had no problems with it.

Freezes

No matter if you are watching an antenna program. We could Not operate the tv until we disconnect the power. Then the process of returning the tv is horrible. First call to speak with an agent took 37 mins. They connected us with another agent and that was another 35 min call. We had the tv delivered and we want it replaced or a refund.

Issues with colors

His TV displayed the picture like if it had water damage. We exchanged it for another one. Mine now after a few weeks has the same problem as his. I've been reseting the TV to manufacturers settings and it seems to fix it. I'm in the medical field and haven't had a chance to go return it and will do as soon as I have a chance. Very disappointed.

Average TV and there are issues

Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection

Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device.

Come and get it!!!

I really don’t believe this will last 6 months... we paid $150 to have it installed ...we will pay another $100 Dollars to have someone come over and remove it ...then we will pay another $150 to have a Replacement reinstalled...
