    I typically never leave low reviews, however recommend spending the few extra $ for a higher model. Overall the application speed and system navigation is absolutely slow, Slow to the point of needing to purchase a Roku Ultra for applications as opening/closing/navigating/adjusting TV settings are incredibly slow.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using, and the new version is the latest update.

      New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.

    I cannot get any response from anyone. No help setting up and no call back. We were in our own. Issues with tv and we bought the warranty. It was and us crazy. I won’t buy anything from Best Buy. The delivery driver helped us. As he called to ask if all was good. He was a life saver his name was Jeremiah.

    Had TV for 7 Days. Paid to have it installed and on day 7 the screen went blank. Returned to Best Buy. !! Had a Samsung phone that caught on fire several years ago and burned my coffee table. Samsung did absolutely nothing to make it right. Let’s see what they do now??

    Bought this TV 9/6/2020 and 10/9/2020 it broke. Tv stays on for 5 minutes then shuts off. Because it has been over 14 days Best Buy won’t take it back and I called Samsung and it is going to take at least 5 days before a technician will come out and look at it. Will never buy Samsung again. Do not buy this TV

      1) Check the antenna and input cable connections

      2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections

      3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines

      4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
      (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    Have had issues with this thing since it came out the box. Volumes didn’t work Samsung came to fix issue while they were in my home fixing it they cracked the screen. Less than a year later the screen cracked again.

    Store associate was hostile and not friendly , when I got my TV home there was no remote or power cord present in the box. Once back at the store I had to demand that they provide me with the needed items . After a half hour wait I got them . There was no instruction manual I had to go on line and down load one .

    This is the second one I am on bought the first one July 21st the screen went black in a week took it back this week July 28th the new one has a bad spot in the left hand corner of the screen looks like a nickle size spot it almost looks like water but that can't be it. So disappointed in Samsung at this point.

    Garbage. Died after a year and a half. Didn’t realize it only had a 1 year warranty not 3. Without the purchase of an extended warranty you’re stuck with no assistance. Didn’t think it would only last under 2 years

    The sound on this television is horrible. My old Samsung on 10 was pretty loud this one on 50 (max) and can barely hear it. maybe it is just this TV - will reach out to Best buy

      First, let's ensure your firmware is up to date, as the most recent update helps with performance. To update your firmware, go to Settings > Support > Software Update. You can easily update from there if needed.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.

      2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.

      3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.

      Also, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low.       We suggest you to run a self diagnosis via the on screen menu.
      Go to Home>Settings> Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis, and select Picture Test.
      When a message appears, select OK and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the test.

      If the test photo is displayed properly, there may be a problem with an external connected device. Check the connections, the signal strength, or refer to the external device's user manual.

      If the picture test does not appear or you see an issue with the photo, the TV may have a problem. Contact Samsung Support for assistance.
