    Good deal . I bought the sumsunng serie 5 50” from Best Buy didn’t use it a lot the half of screen becomes black after exactly 3 years . Hopefully they not the same .

    Samsung 65inch tv

    The picture quality on my new 65 inch Samsung is somewhat disappointing compared to my 5 year old Samsung 46 inch tv. The older Samsung has brilliant vibrant color. I also have a problem with the sound not working when I turn it off overnight. If I unplug tv and plug it back in the sound will come on as normal. It is only a few weeks old, so I have scheduled service through Samsung. The price for a 65 inch tv was reasonable. I purchased online. Next time I will only buy in store, after comparing with other tv’s

    Unstable Software, Bad TV

    I had issues with it as soon as I started using it. First, I must say the picture is AMAZING when it is working properly. This is my second Samsung TV in 3 months. Other TV was replaced with this one. - color problems and odd glitch patterns appear after shutting off TV and turning it back on. Only way to resolve is to unplug TV. - When using an external source, automatic "game mode" function can't decide if it should be on or off, interrupting gameplay or movie watching. - Apps malfunction: click on a YouTube video from the YouTube app, sound is working but screen is black. Back out of current video, click on it again, problem "solved". Has there been ANY QA done on this TV prior to release? My old Samsung 40" 1080p TV functions great after almost 10 years. This brand new TV functions marginally better than a soft, fresh poop on the floor.

    I’m having trouble with the sound, most of the time it doesn’t have any, finding myself rebooting several times, on Is not even a month old

      Hi there,

      We appreciate you sharing details of the sound issue you’re experiencing on your TU7000 TV. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try if the TV does not have any sound:

      1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external devices and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

      2) Set Sound Output to TV Speaker by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Output

      3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

      Next, if the sound is not to your satisfaction, there are several sound settings you can adjust. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.

      You can customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.

    Dark picture

    This television is okay not great, I’m really thinking about returning the television because due to the overall darkness . I have adjusted the contrast and other functions to enhance the picture but still very poor quality. We own several other models of Samsung which have great quality pictures. That’s why I made this purchase but I will not recommend this television.

      You mentioned that you’ve already tried adjusting your image, but I did want to share the following adjustments with you, just in case:

      Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:

      1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

      Also, please make sure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

    It’s a nice TV for the price but the smart features and interface are laggy and slow responsive. Furthermore, within 3 months of purchasing the TV the screen has gone black and the picture is barely visible (bulb possibly went out?) After calling Samsung they said a service center would reach out to me to schedule an in-hone service appointment. That was five days ago and I have heard nothing.
