Tv is junk!!

Constant black out screen along with colored horizontal static interference which affects the whole display, rather that be satellite, hulu, Netflix or dvr. First Samsung tv and now will be my last. Would rather exchange it for an LG.

Broken
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV dead after used 1 year, while commected to HDMI screen got frozen and turned black won’t turn on anymore, sumsung told me warranty expired, they said i will have to pay 200 labor + whatever parts cost, first time in my life a tv broken like this, and found out this tv is made in mexico ? So is best buy selling fake sumsung ?

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with a black screen. I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try.
If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's entirely possible it could be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue:
1. Press the Home button on the remote.
If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues.
Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).
2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1.
If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.
After reconnecting the external device, please turn it off and back on.
3. Test the HDMI cable.
To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test.
If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.
4. Test different external devices.
The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port.
If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.

Low quality. Broke down

Repairs will cost the same amount of tv. I will never buy another samsung tv. Waste of money. The most I've spent on a tv and it died. Thanks Samsung.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your thoughts regarding the navigation of your new TV.
To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of the TV and Remote, you can download the User Manual and Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for the TU7000 under Crystal UHD TVs > T Model Lineup.
Also, please know that Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, which removes the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove.’
2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service.
3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.
Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub
2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature
3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App
4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature

Tv screen problems - 3 yrs old.

I can still see the picture but it’s almost blacked out. I don’t understand why because we don’t leave it on when we aren’t using it. I wouldn’t reccomend this TV because now we are shoping for another tv.

Why only 2 HDMI Ports?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased tv to use for Super Bowl. I give this 3 stars because the tv only has TWO HDMI ports. Not enough for 2 video game systems, cable tv, Bluray player, not to mention a sound bar. Trying to figure out how to connect all the wires isn't fun. I have an older Toshiba with 5 ports which was workable (that one needed a Roku player also). Kind of regretting the purchase.
