Do Not Buy This TV!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely the worst TV I’ve ever owned. I’m getting rid of it after only four months. The interface is horrible, there is a constant lag, you are stuck with so many worthless apps and there isn’t room to add many more. It’s next to impossible to cast off a phone or iPad. It truly sucks!

Very nice picture, good sound. Broke in 7 months.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes the picture is very nice and the sound is good. However, the TV broke after 7 months. Why? Because I touched the screen, barely touched the screen that is and that screen cracked. How can the screen be this flimsy? Samsung would not help with the warranty, so, no more Samsungs for me. If you want a good TV but you don't want it 7 months later, then this is the TV for you.

I am very sorry for the unfortunate situation with a crack having developed in your screen. Please know that a crack will not spontaneously develop; a physical impact – perhaps small, but done at just a certain degree – would be the most likely explanation.

Built by Professionals. Programmed by the Devil.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So first off, resolution, build quality, all good. And I’m not the 1* review type, but bear with me. So I buy this TV on Black Friday. Seems solid. Turn it on for the first time, oh look- some weird Samsung TV pseudo-cable thing pops up. Looks like it’s doing some holiday movie. Whatever. Neat. Anyway go to set up cable/PlayStation/etc. Funny thing starts happening: whenever someone tries to cut it off, BAM. Whatever holiday movie didn’t make the cut on the Lifetime network is blasting at full volume in my living room. At first I thought it was funny as hell- Told the wife and kids it must be haunted. Now if I forget to switch off the peripherals and TV in the right order Sandra Bullock’s stunt double is gonna be blasting at full volume about her Christmas dilemma. It’s been weeks now. It wakes the dogs. I’m beginning to believe it’s haunted too. Exactly what subscription service do I need or button do I need to press to not have a failed Miss Teen USA lamenting about their Christmas Tree Farm closing at such a volume the windows in my home shake?

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for sharing your review. We appreciate you sharing your experience with the sound going out from your TV. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.
2) Set Sound Output to TV Speaker by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output
3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto
I hope this helps. Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support:

Samsung Tizen OS ruins a good TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't recommend this TV if you want to use it for streaming. Samsung for whatever stupid reason thinks its a great idea for when you turn on your TV to have Samsung TV play. Theres no option to turn off the autoplay. Having two HDMI ports stinks but it wouldnt be a big deal with the stupid TV didnt feel the need to configure every device thats plugged into the TV. I swap out from my chromecast to a playstation 5 and it takes 2 minutes to switch from the Chromcast to the playstation 5 because the stupid TV wants to configure the picture and ask me what device is plug in every single time. You know what happens when I plug a device into my Sony TV with google OS it works. It doesn't ask stupid questions. It doesn't randomly stop controlling devices because it forgets what device is plug in. Will never buy another Samsung TV.

We appreciate your purchase and review of the TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you!
First, it is possible to disable Samsung TV Plus, which removes the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV Plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove.’
2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service.
3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.
Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub
2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature
3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App
4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature
Also, to ensure your TV's performance is fully optimized, please be sure you've got the latest firmware installed. You can check to see what version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV by going to Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.

Great... for a year.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was great... for one year. A month after the warranty expired, the backlight went out and the screen stopped working. Samsung is not great about accommodating fixes even with the newish TVs. Service techs were quick to point out that the fixes would cost more than the TV ($700).

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues connecting devices using Bluetooth. When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind.

3) Lip-sync errors may occur.
4) The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them

Low quality display that doesn't match the specs o
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge disappointment with this model, and perhaps Samsung in general. In the end, nothing looks good on this display. 4K isn't clean, 1080P is blurry and full of artifacts. Tried both the in-model app streaming and via the external device, the native app video actually looks much worse. As for the apps, the navigation is as slow as many report, and the menu choices are nothing but confusing. Sports is especially bad, with the players looking like blurry blobs running after a ball that isn't even round, and you can only see definition if it's a close up, or players aren't moving. Seriously, this is an extremely low end model that's only good for people who want a cheap model that doesn't perform well, or care about quality. I'd be crushed if I couldn't return it. And considering this is what Samsung decided to stand behind and offer, will be going to a different brand from now on.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t plan on using smart feature of this tv as the set lacks the horsepower to run Hulu and other apps. Worst tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish we would’ve read all the bad reviews! We bought this tv based on the 4 and a half stars it has. If I could give negative stars I would. EVERY single time we turn the tv on a picture comes on then blacks out, says hdmi not connected and the color flickers(all wiring is secure and tight). This goes on for a good 2 minutes sometimes longer and happens literally every time the tv is turned on! Morning, midday, evening it doesn’t matter. If the tv was previously off then it goes through this entire “warm up” process. We have not returned it because I drove almost 1 hr to pick it up and it’s already been mounted to the wall and box thrown away. You definitely get what you pay for! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
