Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv 22 days ago and now it won’t turn on. At first it had a few line in it no big deal but now it won’t even turn on. Just keeps powering on and off. Samsung and Best Buy are absolutely no help. Don’t buy this tv with the protection plan. Your going to need it.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020
For instructions on how to update your firmware, please visit: www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/
5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to
Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service.
Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.

Nightmare of a product.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase this TV in August of this year. Worked fine up until one month ago when the unit decided to go dark and not produce a visible picture. Unfortunately, the customer has to deal directly with the manufacturer which has been an absolute nightmare. First repair company no showed. Next company, Samsung canceled the ticket with no notice. Finally, a month later a repair tech cam out to inform me that the "board" needed to be replaced. Worst experience ever! Do not recommend this TV whatsover!

Short life tvs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought un65ru7100fxza approx 18 months ago and it has a dark shadow which covers approx 1/3 of the screen. Contacted samsung about the issue but got no reply back on the issue......its disappointing to say that it is now the norm that a tv is only expected to last less than 2yrs and that after the 12 month warranty is up ,that the manufacturer wont even acknowledge the customer let alone advise how to address the issues with its products

Buzzing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now had two of these tv’s delivered and installed to my home. First one was buzzing and exchanged. Thought I just got a bad tv. Second one is doing the same thing. So clearly this is a manufacturing malfunction. I have changed out the mount. Changed all hardware. Bought a surge protector to see if that would help. I now don’t know what to do as I’ve only had this one for 14 days. It’s the most annoying sound ever!

Avoid this TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started off as a great TV but after 30 days exactly, I turned it on and the picture was nonexistent. Sound was still working but screen blacked out with no picture at all. I’m convinced that I was sent a refurbished tv as I have never experienced this with a Samsung TV. I still have one from 2011 without any issues. My advice pay the extra $100 for the newer model.

Avoid problematic.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen stopped working. Went to Best Buy in person and I said my tv doesn’t work. They immediate asked about the screen. This seems to be an existing issue. The screen would come on and off. The sound was not consistent and I had the tv for 16 hours. Waited 3 weeks for delivery and install for me to go to sleep and wake up to a tv that doesn’t work. Returning and as I type.

Constant Buzzing noise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise whenever it is turned on. It is very noticeable. I've tried external speakers, and trying a different power cord since I read that the power source could be an issue, but so far nothing works. My last TV did not have this problem. I wish I could return it but I bought the TV and then had to leave for 6 months and I am just noticing it now.

Thank you for your review of the TU7000 TV. I am very sorry to hear that you are hearing a buzzing sound coming from your TV. Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device.
For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information
You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to:
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test

Posted .Hello HyperUpset,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for bringing your concerns to our attention.
Please know that Samsung is committed to providing the best possible product experience, quality, and value, and your feedback will be shared with our product and customer care teams.
The interface response time you are describing may be related to your network connection and quality. We suggest you try the following:
1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
This improves your apps performance as it frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
We also recommend you check that your TV is running the latest firmware.
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for sharing your review. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.
2) Set Sound Output to TV Speaker by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output

I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV and a service call was unable to resolve it. There are several troubleshooting steps you may want to try.
Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

Thank you for choosing the TU7000 Smart 4K TV and taking the time to share your experience.
I am very sorry to hear that your apps are not working properly. Please check your network connection. When the network speed is slow, the app may not work, or its image quality may be poor.
If your apps are freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again, deleting and downloading the apps again, and completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue (which you have done).
Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version.
