TV won't turn on

It will turn on after several attempts of on and off using the remote and tried all things from online guidelines. All we know is we bought a brand new one not a refurbushed item. And laltely it's getting worse. It won"t turn on at all. The 50 inch tv that we used to have was moved to our bedroom to install this 65' inch in the living room. That old 50 inch tv still works fine. Since it's past 1 year already, I know that the warranty is over but for what we paid for only went to waste. Best Buy is there something you can do about this? We can't just throw away a little less than a thousand dollars for this. And neither can we shell out another amount for a new one especially at this time of uncertainty. I will appreciate a favorable reaponse.
