Love My Samsungs

My only complaint, is I should of spent the money to go with a backlit. Love the picture, but depending on the light in the room, is hard to see sometimes. Great TV otherwise and great value.

Buying a sounder This week after i figure out which one!!

Not the best quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this in Sept of 2023 after purchasing on Dec of 2019. TV worked great until about a week ago when the back lights started to fail. Entire screen is now black and TV is useless. Not thrilled with the quality here as one would probably expect. Not sure how relevant this review is 4 years after the fact but I wouldn’t expect the any better results at this price point. Good luck.

Great 4K Quality

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Things I like: great picture, and I like the Buzzr channel which is the only channel that will reliably stream on Samsung TV. Things I hate: - wanna change the volume quickly? Too bad! The TV is busy processing other commands to respond to such a simple request. - Wanna change between apps? Samsung TV be like "F&*K YOU!" and responds like molasses, so you click the right or left button again and you end up launching the wrong app because simple menus and usability are things of the past. Always wait at least 3 minutes after moving to the app you want to launch before trying to launch it or it'll process the last move command right after you selected it. - Wanna avoid smart apps altogether and use your PS4 or other external source? Well, enjoy random screen blackouts while playing games or watching Netflix. I had the 6 series before I had this one, and I only traded the 6 series in because of the problems above WHICH ALSO PLAGUE THIS 7 SERIES. I'd ignore all the app and interface problems if my screen didn't randomly black out using my PS4. Note that other owners have reported the same issue and there is still no fix. I should have never wasted my money on this TV.

So far though, the only thing it doesn't do well with is the, "external hard drives"! Even ones with just a few items, won't load. Other than that it works great! When I bought this TV, it was $849, so I guess the newer TV is a bargain.

Great Picture Wifi Connection Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this tv for two weeks! Picture is amazing! Wifi connection is terrible to watch with Hulu or Netflix. I have very fast internet and in a two week period probably lost connection 20 times... If you have a cable box or Dish/Direct box this tv will probably be great!! If you use firestick or built in wifi don’t even think about this tv... There are many reviews like mine that agree... returned tv today and went with 65” Sony 800 series, been watching 5 hours tv is phenomenal and NOT ONE SINGLE wifi disconnection.
