    It is very hard to adjust color on this TV. I’m not completely satisfied with the picture we are receiving through CABLE UVERSE. The 4K reception seems to be better. I was thinking of returning this set but plan to hang onto it for a while longer.

      Our 2019 RU8 Series features Ultra Slim Array backlight, HDR10 plus, wide viewing angle, Real Game Enhancer and more, all designed to give you the best in lifelike, crystal-clear viewing enjoyment.

      Please know that the TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out.
      It also has several preset picture modes and many custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
      The Dynamic Mode is our typical store demo mode and is the brightest among all presets.
      Standard Mode is ideal for home and everyday viewing.
      Movie Mode is the closest setting to calibration the way the director intended as it uses less enhancements and will likely result in the truest picture.

      In addition, the quality of the image on your screen depends on the source and the connection.
      HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality.

    Tv is ok overall. There is much better tvs for the same price point. Check out Hisense, their displays are incredible for the price.

    This is my overall second Samsung TV i have bought. Very happy with my previous one, purchased 5 years ago. Not sure if it is the model or a problem with this TV itself. My main issue is the picture "jitter", no matter if we are streaming or playing a movie from a 4K player. The contours of the main frame/person/object creates a light blur around the frame. The other issue is the brightness. The TV is not bright enought, the images come out dull. Have tried all possible settings, dynamic mode, nothung helps. Called Samsung four times to find out what the problem stands. Very disappointed, considering we spend hours troubleshooting via remote assistance. If this is how this particular TV performs, and that's OK, I just need to return it and get a better model. But if the problem is with this particular TV then I just need to replace it.     Audio cuts out & no fix from Best Buy or Samsung

    Audio cuts out when in use, Samsung has no fix via updates because it's apparently discontinued now & Best buy want's me to go through them even though they didn't tell me this is a discontinued model.

    Samsung resart loop

    After 16 months, the tv started going into a restart mode where it would come on and go off after 2 seconds. The repair man replaced the main board but issue still occurred. He believes the lcd display is bad. It would cost more to repair than to buy a new one. This is a known issue on Samsung tvs for a decade. I will not be buying Samsung again but i will be purchasing the maximum extended warranty possible on whatever tv i buy.

    Disappointed that it glitches hardcore when trying to play Nintendo Switch. TV screen goes black for several seconds repeatedly during gameplay. Makes it unplayable and very frustrating.

    Picture is good not as crisp as I wanted may have to mess with the setting a little more but there’s this lag at times that really bothers me so if anyone else is having this issues please post it

    The problem with this TV is the software. I will never be buying a Samsung TV again, as they are drowning you with ads right out of the box. I have taken extensive measures to block ads coming onto the TV that I already bought, but even still they make it impossible to fully get rid of ads. Also, the coloring is completely off when I use hdmi inputs. All of the smart apps look fine, but the same video on Apple TV, Fire TV, Computer, etc look distorted. The refresh rate isn't great for sports either.

      This TV comes with a feature called Auto Motion Plus that helps to optimize motion image quality.
      You can change Auto Motion Plus settings by following these steps:
      HOME > SETTINGS > PICTURE > EXPERT SETTINGS > Auto Motion Plus Settings

      Then select one of the three options:
      1) Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off
      2) Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      3) Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used

      By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings:
      1) Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting
      2) Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting
      3) LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off

    TV cost twice what model 6900 goes for but picture quality not that much difference to justify price difference. Am considering returning as TV has not met expectations
