Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I bought this TV about 4 years ago when it first came out and I spent a lot on it (around 4k). In the beginning, I sang its praises and it really was the best 4k Smart TV in the market during that time. The problem is that about a year after I purchased - it started to light bleed around the perimeter of the screen. A fault in which I learned to live with and move on . But now there is a horizontal, dark spot in the middle of my TV that takes over 1/3 of the screen and I was told by Samsung's certified technicians that it will cost about a third of the original price I payed for this TV to fix it. Samsung refuses to make any allowances or help out in anyway. Unfortunately, this is not the only Samsung product of poor quality that I had issues with after a year of minor use. Needless to say, this is the last time my household will be purchasing any sort of Samsung product. In my experience, Samsung's products are low quality and are not made to last after a year. For comparison, I have another Smart TV, around 10 years old, that I purchased from their biggest competitor which still works perfectly. It is currently used in my guest bedroom.

Display resolution is awesome and app offering is everything my family was looking for. User interface is fairly easy to use and setup. The only reason why I gave it only 4 stars is because I don't see why it costs $200 more than the early year model which is almost identical except for the fact that it is edge lit vs. backlit.

Disappointed - stopped working after two years

I can’t access apps, can’t adjust volumes, can’t open home menu. I contacted Samsung support and had to reboot the remote and then tv and then remote and then the tv again, only to fix nothing. During this process I also realized I can’t enable remote management on my tv (how helpful). I may get it serviced but it’s probably not worth the money. When I spent 600 bucks on a TV I expected it to last much longer than two years. I don’t think I’ll buy from Samsung again. To be fair the picture quality and sound quality are great.

(240 Motion) for watching football. This will be paired with a QLED 65" Q70 TV. I only plan to watch football on this beauty.

Its a great value at that price point, next best tv would have to be a Sony x900H which runs about $1200. So this TV is half the price and just doesn't have local dimming like the sony

My wife opted for the slightly more expensive, but much faster version. The remote threw me off with the minimal amount of buttons, but overall it is an excellent rectangle!
