    The picture is great. The sound, however, is so low. Turning the sound all the way up isn’t very loud at all. Paid too much for the tv to have to buy speakers for it. Very disappointed in the sound since we paid $800 for it, shouldn’t have to use speakers or a sound bar on an $800 tv. Picture is great though.

    Traded my QLED UHD TV for this and couldn't be happier. Universal Remote controls the Nintendo Switch/ PS4 / PS5 / SoundBar. Set up is super easy. Very Bright screen highly recommend lowering the backlight and brightness to about 10 or lower. Only upgrade is a Sony Master Series TV for ($4,500)

    Excellent 4K HDR TV. This is in our living room, paired with our Bose sound touch sound bar and Bose subwoofer. Good user interface and minimal button remote. I suggest pairing with a 4K HDR player and watching Seven Worlds 4K HDR series (available at Best Buy). Then you will see how good this TV is.

    Bought this because it was on sale. 4 stars because the top left corner is much brighter than the rest of the screen when it is completely black. Other than that, it was a good purchase. I like the small remote and multifunction buttons. Only minimal screen lag when watching football. Would recommend this tv.

    The picture is great. Where this TV drops the ball is the WIFI card. It drops connection every time I use it. You have to reset network settings each time. This has happened with most of the Samsung Tvs I have purchased and they cant seem to fix it.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU80800 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing connection issues.

      You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:

      1) First, please be sure you have the latest firmware update. (1460.9 released on 12/7/20)

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.

      You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

      2) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).

      3) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.

      Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

    It has a nice picture but do not buy if you are planning on streaming off it or if you don’t have a sound bar or surround sound system! The streaming is always freezing we had to go out and buy a Roku and have had no issues with that. But Streaming is awful on the tv.. now to the sound no must have another sound system hooked up because the volume on tv itself is like NOTHING! great for a small room with no other noise but Not for a normal house. I was told this was the best tv for streaming and just the best tv all around they lied!! I would have been better off buying a $500 tv from Walmart! I do like the Samsung tv channels that come free with the tv BUT here you go again with the streaming it freezes constantly and it’s not worth getting into something when it just freezes. Way too expensive to have to go out and buy other things to make the tv work right. I would not recommend this tv!

    I purchased this tv in July to replace an older Samsung I owned. Well I have been a bit disappointed because although the picture is of excellent quality on this new tv, trying to connect to my WiFi has been a challenge. It constantly disconnects and despite performing all th troubleshooting available, I still have problems.
