The clips that hold the cord back, are cheaply made, and look more tacky than the cord would if left hanging down. I own another 65" Samsung that is way better. Thought i was buying the same one. But clearly it changed and the quality went down.

I am sorry that you are not completely satisfied with your TU8000 TV.
You can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking.
Go to Home> Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness
We also recommend you check if Power Saving Mode has been enabled.
Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
