Arc feature not working well

Thank you for choosing the TU8000 Crystal UHD Smart 4K TV and taking the time to share your experience.
If you have an app that is freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV, updating your TV's software, deleting and downloading the app again, and a completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue with the app.

Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware.
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
Select Settings- Support- Software Update, then select Auto Update.

I am sorry that you are experiencing stalling and freezing with your TU8000 Crystal UHD Smart TV.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

A nice upgrade

I Had to exchange the first TV due to an annoying buzzing and a couple of faint vertical lines in the tv. I had no hassles from Best Buy and the new TV works great. I bought this to upgrade from a 10 year old 40" TV. Obviously, it blew it away. The picture quality is great, I can see details in movies that I've never noticed before. The screen is a bit reflective but I don't find that difficult to manage. The sound is adequate (although I use a sound bar most of the time). The remote is different... its small and simplistic (no complaints). Also, you can use your phone to control the TV. One thing to note, there are no buttons on the TV (no power button, no channel buttons, nothing). Personally I think that's a bad design choice but as long as I don't lose the TV remote and my phone it will not be an issue.

Great buy!
