When system (receiver, tv, Comcast box) are turned on the tv is ok but after a minute reverts to to tv home screen losing the HDMI source. One the receiver HDMI is clicked all is good. But it's annoying. Probably firmware issue. The firmware is original issue and Geek Squad did not update. The TV will not update - so much for "smart". Update requires DL from web and use of flashdrive. Maybe I'll get to it.

Two quibbles: Quibble #1 The small print that scrawls across the screen is fuzzy. Probably, the 4D doesn't get along very well with lesser quality broadcasts. Quibble #. The remote control is more complicated man than it needs to be, and some the buttons too small for an adult hands. And the instructions don't cover some of the essentials.

Has plenty of apps, even has Apple play, Apple Music, and Apple TV. I would recommend this tv to anyone who needs a new one. And for the people who just give bad reviews just because don’t pay that any mind because all the TVs in my house are Samsung and i have never had any issues with any of them

For the price and its size it has a great picture, and is an affordable alternative to the Q series if you are not going to be using it in a home theater setting. I am still within the burn in period, but the colors are sharp and vivid and the motion lag is not noticeable. I am a little disappointed with the ambient screen option, it is far too dark to pose as a piece of art hanging on your wall.

If you like easy set up with quality this is the way to go. The size is great. Only drawback for me is that it’s only 120 hrz and not 220 so if you like high speed action you have to adjust accordingly with settings but you can find the sweet spots

We replaced a Sony that cost much more but was always rebooting itself. This TV has worked flawlessly. The only regret we have is updating our AppleTV a couple of months ago because we really don't need it. We can stream everything we had been watching on that directly on the TV.
