I purchased the Samsung - 65" Class 8 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV which is a 2020 model. Excellent clarity and colors. Fairly easy setup when done via my samsung S20FE cellphone app, which was already built in. It quickly recognized my network and I was up and running in no time. I also liked that it was fairly straight forward to change the tv settings to improve the picture quality. I find the sound adequate for my needs as I live in a condo and cannot push the volume all the way up without bothering neighbors. I have watched this tv from my couch in the living room, from the kitchen which is on an extreme angle and from my dining table which is much further back than the couch and the picture has been very good. TV picture loses a little clarity when viewed on the extreme side but I would still say it's ok unless this would be your permanent viewpoint. TV comes with many built-in apps with some free and some paid programming, like YouTube TV, Samsung app, Disney +, Netflix, Prime Video and many more. All in all, I think it was a good value for the money.

Great TV with terrific picture. Easy set up and everything was working quickly and correctly. Images seem to jump off the screen. Live sporting events are spectacular. On top of great performance, it all comes at a very reasonable price. Great deal. Very happy, would recommend.

This is my first SMART TV. It was a must that I purchase a Samsung! I trust this brand and am very satisfied thus far. Crazy that all this time with technology has passed and I haven't had a Smart TV, It's really cool what they can do. It came with everything needed and the set up was super easy. I liked that it synced to my internet without asking for a password, I was concerned initially but it was seamless. The picture is Great. I do need to purchase a sound bar as the sound is not what I expected from this high dollar brand. But according to my research a sound bar will enhance the sound wonderfully. The sound is the only not great thing I find about it. While listening to music I found I could talk at a normal voice and be speaking almost as loud as the TV. Not Good Samsung, not good. I almost want to purchase a different brand sound bar just to be certain I get the sound I want but I like sticking to matchy matchy when it comes to tech so we shall see.

Just purchased this tv and must say that i am very impressed with the picture quality and great features that this offers. Very easy to use and operate. The contrast on this set is amazing, colors really stand out. Dont know what the negative reviews are all about because i have had no problems.

I've been using this TV as my gaming monitor for a couple months and I'm extremely satisfied with it. Despite being an HDTV and a VA panel, I've gotten response times that feel lagless to me, and are good enough to play MOBAs, Monster Hunter World, Fallout 4, and so on. As a VA panel, the contrast is wonderful for games like The Forest that put you in dark caves for long periods of time. It's also VERY affordable for a 65" TV. ** ATTENTION: Do be aware that it can support a high refresh rate, OR 4k @ 60hz, but not both. Depending on the game, you can sacrifice one or the other, but know that you can't get both at the same time! ** Honestly, my graphics card is decent, and it can't play my favorite games with both without framerate drops, so this doesn't really affect me, anyway. I avoid the apps as much as possible, since I'm using my computer to stream video. YMMV if you're using the installed apps to watch TV.

I LOVE this TV. Did I say I love this TV??? I do. I really love it. It can be a little annoying trying to do things that should be quick like use Bluetooth ear buds, or switch between sources. And it keeps losing wifi pairing. Requiring having to set wifi back to factory and installing over again. That's annoying. Also, the USB slots could be MUCH better located. I mean, if this is mounted on a wall, how in heck do you expect people to access them? I watch off flash drives all the time, and it's a royal pain trying to get them slotted in, even with the TV on a shoulder-level stand. My older LG was much better for this. Picture though is great, and sound is ok. I have hearing issues so use captions most of the time anyway. The remote is a bit touchy. It's hard to keep it close at hand because you can drop a napkin on it and it turns on. I'm overall though very happy with the purchase. Mildly enthusiastic Jazz Hands!

This thing is awesome I bought it together with the Samsung sound system and it's so cool. Great picture easy setup easy to use no problems compatible with Cox and every other app that I have including Netflix Amazon prime video Hulu

Puchased a Vizio. Permanent brown smudge on the screen, returned. Second Vizio had a problem with infrared sensor, so it wouldn't set up at all. Again returned. Switched to Samsung. Great picture. Ok sound. Easy set up. Simple remote needs some getting used to.

Great 65" TV! We stepped into the 21st century and finally upgraded our 32" analog TV to a digital TV. The difference is amazing. It's great that we can watch TV & movies, attach computer & cell phone, and play games on it. It was easy to setup for basic functions, using the remote. Our teen was able to get our satellite remote to properly sync, setup some of the more advanced functions, and get his games setup. The USB and 3 HDMI ports are definitely a plus and we use them all (more would be better). We have an older Insignia soundbar that easily connected with WiFi. Finally, we did about a month of research, reviewing pro's and con's for different TV's and settled on this. So far we are very happy with this, though I have my eye on a larger one!

Moved my 55” Samsung curved TV downstairs and put this one in its place. My curved tv was a 6000 series although it is very good tv this one does have a better picture. Only issue that took getting use to is no number buttons on the remote. Very pleased with this tv, everyone likes it!

Easy to use. Great quality picture. I have it set up in my bedroom. Like how it is a smart TV and the remote that comes with it is sleek and functional. Would definitely buy again and have already recommended to my family and friends!

The picture is incredible and the features are endless! Decent price point for all of the features! I am glad I spent the money! With the addition purchase of the sound bar, our viewing experience is like being in a theatre!

This is a very nice television. The size is perfect for my living room. It’s easy to use, the picture is pristine and the price was great!! Very happy with my purchase!!

Really like the tv overall. Nice picture and sound, even though we usually use a sound bar. The menus are easy to use. Only thing I don't like is not having buttons on the actual tv and the remote not having numbers.

The Very Good: Nice Price, Nice clear picture, Good sound for speech and sports, Easy to connect. Easy to connect Wifi, Good viewing angle, Loots of "apps" to choose from (Fire, Netflix, etc.) The Not Quite So Good: Screen glare (reflections) in bright rooms, Clumsy remote (needs just a few more dedicated buttons), Not many connection inputs for "older" devices. Major Gripe: Aspect Ratio is awful on Comcast Cable (picture is larger than the screen, parts not visible, characters stretched, and can't be adjusted unless you opt for the top end Comcast Service Box.) Picture is normal, properly centered and filling the screen ratio with other add-on services. Few adjustments available to correct aspect ratio on the TV Settings Menu. If you have no issue with Comcast, it is a very nice TV, but if I had to do it over, I would have probably purchased the Samsung Q70 series which deals with glare better but is not that much different and has even less inputs but has greater brightness.

Color and sound are great. It is easy to navigate for smart TV or Cable use. I also had Best Buy install the TV on the wall and they did it quickly, cleaned the area and showed me how to use all the functions.

Same as above . Great picture. Good price for 65 inch smart tv. Wish it had universal remote. Have to use tv remote,then direct tv remote,to watch other channels. Overall a great tv. Would recommend it.

I bought the 2018 version of the Samsung 65” class 8 series to watch the 2019 final four and national championship. Because it was a 2018 model, I got it for about 1/2 the original price. The picture was great and the action came through almost like you were at the game. We recently bought a vacation home and I basically bought the 2020 version of the same TV for less than I paid a year ago for the 2018 version. The industry is moving away from the UDH LEDs transitioning to OLEDs. Right now you can buy a top of the line UDH for about 1/3 the cost of an OLED. I also have a 55” OLED. The picture is beautiful. It may be better than my 65” Samsung 8 series, but I’ve never had them side by side to compare. I can only say when I am watching my 65” Samsung 8 series TV, I cannot find any fault with the picture or imagine a better picture could be available.

Bought this to replace my old DLP tv. Amazing picture! With my Ps5 &Bose surround it's like Im there in the game!
