    The resolution on this TV is terrific. The sound quality is alright. We ended up getting a sound-bar to use with it.

    Great TV. I purchased as a gift and the recipients love it. I also purchased a sound bar to go with it since sound quality is a bit lacking.

    It’s good and obviously need better sound quality. I am just worried how it will be after 5 years. I have other one for almost 5 years and it just went blank.

    I was very surprised that the sound was not as good as my old Samsung tv I had to get a sound bar ,the sound still is not as good as my old t v .

One of the features of your TV is OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite) which means that there are strategically placed dynamic speakers that track the action and move the sound around you.     This is a great tv, I upgraded from an older Samsung smart tv that was much smaller and I love it. Could use some improvement with the sound, might have to get a sound bar or something.

    This is a replacement for our previous tv. The screen resolution is fantastic! Plus the smart tv function is user friendly. would highly recommend!

    This is a great product, the only concern I have was making the purchase for 2 and the day of delivery one was shipped to my home. But overall was able to get things taking care of.

    It is a great TV. However the sound quality wasn’t. But I know the is common con for the flat screw tv.

    If you are planning to start your journey with smart TV, I would suggest to go with Samsung bit low end series like UHD Smart Tizen one, it will help you to gain control over smart TV

    Sometimes the volume is delayed when you initially power the TV. It’s a little frustrating. Other then that it’s a great TV.

      Hi Delayed,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 TV. We appreciate you sharing feedback regarding the sound delay issues you are experiencing. It could possibly a source issue, but if you are hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a Home Theater System or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay

      Please know that our 2020 TVs do have an audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.

      On your TV go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware (v.1904.0). You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

    Bright lighting on this TV is a little too bright. When watching shows or movies with brightness high the people tend to glow some? Overall though not a terrible TV.
