The sound at 100 is still barely loud enough to hear normal talking on a movie or show. Had to buy a sound bar. The picture is good but we have had to reset them tv twice because it has just stopped working and the screen goes fuzzy or the sound just turns up on it’s own. Had out for two weeks and I wanted to bring it back but I was 3 days late on the return policy.

Hi Mini9,
We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with feedback on your CU8000 TV. I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with the sound and with the TV malfunctioning. Please know we are here to help and have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try.
First, let's make sure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, there are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode
Regarding the issue of your screen going fuzzy, it may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps:
1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. If you are using a set-top box, check the cable connection. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode.
If you continue to have issues, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. LiveChat with an agent, as well as manuals, software, and warranty info, can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

Hi PhilipA,
We appreciate your feedback on the Samsung CU7000 TV. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Wi-Fi disconnecting from the TV.
Please ensure you are running the latest Firmware, as it includes important updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. To ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates, I recommend enabling Auto Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.

Hi RonaldO,
We appreciate your feedback on the CU8000 TV. Below are a few recommendations that should improve your experience.
First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.
Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
To adjust the sound on your TV, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode or customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings.
I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. You can contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Hi Mario,
It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with your CU8000 TV’s image quality. Below are a few settings that I recommend adjusting:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

I've purchased many Samsung TVs for both work and home. This is the first time I've been disappointed. From the first day we set it up the picture keeps going black every few minutes. Streaming live TV using the Tizen Smart TV features is extremely choppy and no amount of adjustments have helped. I would not recommend this TV to anyone at any price. Samsung support is a nightmare and geek squad support directed me to Samsung.

KayBA,
We appreciate your review of the CU8000 TV; please know we are here to help you. I would recommend that you have the latest Firmware update on your TV.
The most recent Firmware Update is version 1120.1. If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
If you continue to have issues, please give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Hi NLewis,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your CU7000 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale any content sent to it as best as possible. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing. 2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box. 3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD. 4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings 5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
Should you ever have questions or need help with TV features, specs, or operations, we are here to help. You can call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

AlexK,
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the build, as well as the image quality of your CU8000F. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust.

Hi Dennis,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung CU8000 TV and for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections
2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception
Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support. You can call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Most annoying digital TV I've owned (and I go all the way back to 3 channel black and white with rabbit ears so I've owned a few digital TVs along the way). Does not handle data well (frame skips, mismatched audio to frames), horrible lighting (had to turn brightness way down to low 20s to get decent picture) and motion seems to be worse than 60. Tried to keep it since it was a great price point but finally had to return it on last eligible day - just couldn't do it anymore.

Garbage TV suddenly won't allow "smart" features (like using any app; think YouTube or Netflix). Will not connect to anything. Cannot update. Resetting does not work. Seems to be dependent on being connected to a Samsung account, but it can't connect to the Samsung account. It's functionally useless. I bought it on February 20th, it is now April 16th of the same year. Less than 2 months of use.
Absolute trash. So glad Best Buy's return policy is a mere 15 days. Shows they really stand by what they sell.
