Thank you for your review. Steps for enabling closed captions may vary a bit by device. On most devices, look for the CC button on the video player bar to toggle them on/off (while watching content on ESPN app). Here are instructions from ESPN: https://support.espn.com/hc/en-us/articles/13623717933460-Closed-Captions-CC-Subtitles-and-Audio-Language-Options-on-ESPN#:~:text=Enabling/disabling%20captions%20and%20subtitles,-English%2Dlanguage%20subtitles&text=Steps%20for%20enabling%20closed%20captions,and%20cannot%20be%20toggled%20off.

Good purchase

If you are having an issue with the sound, just change it to dynamic in the settings no jeed to purchase a sound bar. The wall mount was easy to setup.

BROKE AFTER ONE YEAR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased this tv on 11/29/24 and it broke on 12/7/25. Thank god we purchased the two year warranty for an additional $80 - Geek Squad advised that there’s a hardware issue causing the screen to go black and that repair would exceed the value of the tv, so we are getting a replacement but they are asking that we pay another $60 to get another warranty on the new tv. Given that the first one broke so soon, we don’t want to risk not getting the warranty on the replacement but are shocked that they would ask us to pay more to replace when the original warranty we purchased had to be used less than two weeks after the manufacturers warranty expired. I have asked that they cover the cost of the new warranty given that we spent more than $600 on a tv barely over a year ago. They said they can’t do that for us which is crazy to me as a customer service worker myself. I was told a manager would call me back yesterday, but I still haven’t heard anything despite calling twice now to escalate. I understand that these things happen but requiring us to pay more to replace a defective tv doesn’t seem fair at all. It doesn’t cost Best Buy anything to give us the $60 warranty as long the product they’re selling us lasts for two years.. if they stand by their product, giving us the warranty should not be an issue for them at all. Hoping to receive that call back today like they advised so I can follow up with good news but at this point, Im just extremely disappointed in how this is being handled as it has been a huge inconvenience for us that they are trying to charge us more for. I have other TVs that are more than 5 years old without ever having an issue. The 2 year warranty on the replacement should be a given if we find ourselves in the same situation a year from now. Like I said before, it’ll they stand by this product, then they should be able to provide a warranty at no cost that IDEALLY we won’t have to use.

Decent TV

Wasn't expecting a superior picture for under $500. Wish the home page was more customizable. It comes with a basic remote but our old remote for Samsung still works. You can also order a better remote on Amazon. Hoping this one last longer than our last Samsung which lasted 6 years before the power supply failed.

Great tv, but not very durable.

I would say there have always been some quirks with it, but it has always worked reliably. The issue at hand came after sliding it to the side to do some cleaning. It has quit working. I can hear it come on but there is no display. I think these tv's are sensitive. I would be very cautious when moving these around for any reason.

Thank you for sharing your experience with having no picture. If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you do not see any picture, there are three potential issues.
1) A connection issue is the most common problem where there is a bad connection, faulty cables, or improper installation.
2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
3) There is something wrong with the TV, requiring a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
