    I like the TV for my kids room. The quality is fair. Especially at the price I paid. If it was going in my living room. I would definately shop for better TV

    After the first month of buying, the tv started flashing a verticle bar down the screen but it was only so often, now theres a constant flashing bar that is sometimes black or distorts the pictures color.

      Thank you for your feedback regarding the screen abnormalities you’re seeing on your Samsung DU8000 TV. To determine whether the issue is related to the TV itself, we recommend running a Picture Test, which displays a high-definition test image for you to examine. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test.

      If the issue appears on all sources and during the Picture Test, the TV may require service. For help setting up a service appointment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat and additional support resources are also available through the Support link on our website.

    Set-up was much easier than I thought it would be. For such a large device , it doesn’t overwhelm the space. No noticeable lag in refresh rate, have watched some hi-def streaming and colors are pretty sharp. Good temperature control too. It’s easy to forget flat screen LS need ventilation as well
