I purchased this TV and really like the quality of the picture. I mounted it on the wall and throw away the box. I week later I lost the picture on it. They said I couldn't return it without the box so I had to activate the warranty on it. It was a bad screen which they had to order. The warranty people have been friendly and helpful but I am now over a week and a half without a TV. They should have a way to exchange the TV within 30 days where they simply put the broken TV in the new TV's box. Maybe this is just a fluke but it is frustrating.

Exactly 2 months and 4 days after I bought this, the picture went out. Audio plays flawlessly, but there is no picture. It's still under warranty so Samsung will repair it. Since it's over 48 inches, they will send a repair person to my house. I talked to a representative of the company that will repair it, and unfortunately it will take 3 to 4 days for the parts they think they need to replace to arrive. With the weekend coming up in 3 days, that leaves me without a TV for almost a week. I'm very disappointed that this TV malfunctioned in a major way in only 2 months.

Screen has gone twice on this TV, thankfully I purchased the 5 year service plan on the TV. Not sure why service Techs would not have come with replacement part or replacement TV since it's been replaced once already, but could not repair, so won't be watching the Super Bowl on my 65"
