I love my new TV, everything is so clear, glad we got it

Upon receiving my newly purchased TV and setting it up, which wasn't difficult but takes time, there was a damage portion in the screen. At first it looked like dead pixels, or possibly something else, but upon further looking it was noticed to be a bug, with visible translucent wings in the screen, on the inside. First off, weird, second, absolutely disappointing. With all the recommendations to people about Samsung and Best Buy and getting the TV, with all the hassle and 'huge-ness" of the TV put together and having to go through the hassle of taking it apart, having the Geek Squad people come and drop off the replacement and take that one away, then put it back together again. Just truly lets me down overall. Going to put the new one together tomorrow. Hope and pray its not damaged too, if so I'll say goodbye to Samsung.

The picture quality is excellent I am very impressed

Has some really good cable management built into one of the legs, but only fits the provided power cable and One Connect cable. There is a separate compartment for other things like network that you would think would have provided at least a channel running down the leg on that side of the TV, however that leg doesn't have any option for cable management, unlike the opposite leg that has the cable management channel. Also, if you have multifactor authentication on your facebook account (a security no-brainer), you can't use your facebook account to register for a Samsung account to start using the Samsung smart tv services. You have to register for a Samsung account manually. Also, the error message that facebook (ultimately Samsung) gives is very confusing, as it says that you need to update the TV software in order to be able to sign in with facebook after attempting to sign in, but I had the TV check for updates and there are no more updates. So that's a misleading error message. And the remote doesn't always register commands pressed when using it to control other devices like a DVR, making the whole unified experience very frustrating and requiring a third party remote like the Logitech Hub to get the expected experience. In today's day and age, you'd think you can control everything over an IP network whether it be wireless or wired. Logitech Hub does a good job at integrating with devices that are capable of being controlled over the network, but Samsung seems to be behind on this matter.

This tv is nice clear picture. And very easy to use.

Great with 4k movies and 4k streaming. Visuals and color depths are stunning. Easy to use, lots of added features and easy wifi connect.

I can't believe how Samsung eliminated the Quantum dot from 8000 series for 2017 and 2018. I used to had a 2016 55" 8000 serie, but damage and want to upgrade to a 65" but noticed that the Quantum dot isn't longer available on 8000 series and the Qled are $1,000 more expensive. Price is good but before was better.
