    Function and capabilities are amazing. Only downside to product is the sound quality, which seems generic and very basic.

    Maneuver between HDMI inputs was somewhat difficult this is the only reason i gave this review a 4 star rating.

    The instructions for set-up were not the best. There were more pictures than words to explain the set-up of the tv.

    First off, I have been dreaming about having a 65” TV for over a year, but wanted to wait until we moved to our new place since the old place didn't have room for one. We finally got all moved and settled and I drove 70 miles to Best Buy to purchase my dream TV, Samsung, UN65MU8000FXZA. I went to the Manchester, MO store and found a salesman to ring up my purchase. The only question I had was would they deliver since I lived so far away. The salesman said sure, not problem. An hour later, there was no one at the store that could figure out how to get this done since it was a Sunday, so I left the store in total frustration. A couple of week later, Best Buy put this TV on sale even cheaper and was offering free delivery and install. On August 4, I drove up to the Fenton, MO store, found a salesman and he was able to ring it through with no problem. He told me that I should receive an email within 24 – 48 hours giving me a delivery date and the tv should be delivered within a week. Well, 3 days later, still no email, I called Geek Squad and after about 30 minutes of hold time I now had a delivery date of August 18th. Geek Squad showed up within the given time and everything was great. Well, 2 days later, the TV started to loose picture and sound for just a second or two every 5 to 30 minutes. It would just flash off and back on. Netflix and DVD did not experience this problem. I called ATT Uverse, the technician ran some tests and magically all was good for the rest of the day. The following da, I sy, The flashing started again. Once again, I called Uverse, they did there testing and all was good, but they also scheduled a technician for the following day. The technician came out, the TV was once again flashing so he swapped out the Uverse box. This did not resolve the issue. He started searching for an answer in his data base and said, oh this is a know issue between Uverse and Samsung TV's. The work around is to use composite cables however, this TV does not have composite hookups. At this point, I said get this box out of here and get Directv in here. So he gets Directv scheduled to come out the next day. Directv shows up on time, does his installation, but this does NOT resolve the issue. Now, I call Geek Squad and tell them I want a replacement TV. Geek Squad processes the return of the old, emails me a new receipt and tells me I should get an email with 24 – 48 hours with a delivery date. Two days later, and still no email, I call the Fenton store and get routed to the South County Store, who then transfers me back to the Fenton store. (Apparently, the South County Store handles all calls for the Fenton location). So I finally get Joe on the phone who says he is a manager of the store. He puts me on hold, 15 minutes later he says he got disconnected and asked me to hold again, I told him I would not and to just call me when he as an answer. An our later he calls back, claims he was disconnected 2 more times and I should receive an email in 24 hours with a delivery date. The next day and STILL NO EMAIL, I call the Fenton location, via South County location. Joe is not there but I now speak to a manager named Nathan. After hearing my story, Nathan says he will call me back shortly. About an hour later, Nathan does indeed call me back with a delivery date of the following day. THANK YOU Nathan!!!! The next morning, Geek Squad shows up and replaces the TV. Flashing gone, picture quality is even better then the first TV. I am still in awe of the picture quality of this TV. But, we are NOT done yet. Over the next week, I noticed every time I want to watch a Blue Ray, I have to go to the expert sound settings and toggle from PCM to Bit, back to PCM to get sound from the Blue Ray. So I called Geek Squad to get an appointment for someone to come out. I did buy the extended warranty after all. He tells me since I live out of their service zone to contact Samsung since it is under warranty for the first year. I said fine, but what happens in year two if I have an issue? He states he didn't know, but is sure they would figure it out by then. Not much confidence there. BTW, up till now, Geek Squad had been great So now I call Samsung and surprisingly I get right through. After explaining the problem, he asks me what type of Blue Ray player I have. I told him it was an LG, about 5 years old. He stated it must be a comparability issue, and I am thinking here we go again, just like the previous Uverse. So I hang up, run up to Walmart and purchase a Samsung Blue Ray player. Luckily I was wrong. It's been 3 weeks and everything is still working, with the exception of a Directv 4k issue that took 3 days to rectify. Directv issue came back and has been out for last 10 days. They are "working" on it and need a software fix to get the 4k working properly. After all of this, I still love this TV. I have however lost my confidence in Best Buy and their procedures, especially their phone system,

    Doesn't connect efficiently with Spectrum control box. Not sure why. Might not be the TV.
