This 4k Samsung has a excellent picture was amazed . The remote was so easy to use to control my directv . Bought the Samsung ultra hd Blu-ray player UBD-M8500 to go with it . Netfilx is great with this TV . Have no regrets with this combo. Bought this to upgrade from my old Samsung 8 series ,it was a giant upgrade well worth the money. 4k is the way to go. Of all the TVs I checked out I kept coming back to this one, price and picture quality won out.

Great TV for a great price ($1699). OUTSTANDING picture when coupled with an HDR 4K BluRay disk player. Standard 1080p with Comcast is awesome as well. Very easy to use and the smart features are laid out perfectly. Razor thin and barely a bezel around the screen give it good looks too. Very happy.

This is the best TV I have ever purchased! It fit my 20 x 28 ft media room and works perfectly with my Yamaha receiver and Samsung 4K player. I can mirror my phone to my TV to play directly to the TV screen. The remote is very easy to use and has so many more features that I will probably never use. The price was fantastic for a 4K TV. The picture is so sharp my Playstation games look like you could reach through the screen and touch them. I am an average guy who enjoys my media time and this TV makes it so much better. I have waited for a long time to purchase a 65 in TV as they were out of my budget range...NOT any more!

I have been reluctant to purchase a 4K TV because reviews were saying that unless the cable is broadcasting in 4K, you wouldn't notice a difference. Well I have to say that they were wrong. The picture on this TV is absolutely stunning! It up-converts everything that you are watching. Keep in mind that not all 4K TV's are equal, but I bought this one because I have always had Samsung when it came to LCD/LED. Go with what you know. This colors on this TV are super vivid and the picture is way more detailed and crisper than the 55" Samsung LED that I replaced this one with. The SMART apps are very fast and Amazon prime works flawless. The only issue that I have is the remote. There are no numbers, so you have to talk to it to tell it what to do and you have to figure out what button does what. It's so basic, that it's complicated and frustrating. Fortunately the remote from my 55" works with this TV and my XFinity XI remote does what I need. You still need the original remote for the TV to navigate the smart features and be able to type anything in. (internet/YouTube, etc), but other than that, I absolutely recommend this TV

    Exceeds Expectations

I was looking into upgrading my 4k Vizio 55" D-series tv. I have been doing the research and diving deep into backgrounds on vizio and Samsung brands. I really wanted to make sure I got what i wanted for the best price. 120hz...120 (at least) motion rate, 65" inch increase of picture from the 55" inch currently owned. I am mainly using for 4k movies (all movies), gaming on all 3 platforms (Xbox one, PS4 Pro & Nintendo Switch) as well as using with my pc sometimes. After all the researching was done I was literally at Walmart ready to purchase the Vizio 65" M-series for around 998.00 with extended warranty would have put it around $1150.00 with tax. I work at Walmart and could have used my 10% off eligibility. But something told me to keep looking for that amount of money...sat in the parking lot contemplating the purchase and decided to go back to searching and finally left for home. When I got home I simply typed in something i surprisingly hadn't searched for before...120hz and 240 motion rate just to see what would come up based on what I really wanted out of the future tv. Low and behold Best Buy came up on the screen and the 65" Samsung MU8000 series displayed on my screen. It had all the features I was looking for...finally. Now I know the "rage" is all about QLED TV's but honestly the price point is ridiculous in my opinion. This past Friday night May 11th I went to the closest store that had it in stock as there were few that did. Made my purchase at $1099.00 with 5 year extended warranty all together for $1450.00 roughly...don't break the bank and got everything I wanted in the TV itself. Now to the reason why I made this long review (sorry)...The very next morning I received an E-mail regarding a "24-hour sale" and sure enough there the TV i just purchased less than 3 business hours of the sales starting and a little over 12 hours from the original purchase. I was not upset but just kind of disappointed as if I would have known of the sale I would have waited a day. So on my lunch from work i came home and got online to Best Buy customer chat service and explained my question regarding the sale and possible price match eligibility with the agent (JemmyP). after a matter of maybe 10 minutes they price matched the TV I just purchased at $1099.00 to the sale price of $999.00. I was astounded at the level of service with making this purchase and the following day regarding the price match. Way to go Best Buy! You have more than made this customer happy. I will continue to make significant purchases from your company just off this experience alone. I purchase a Dell XPS last September of 17 and my Nintendo Switch in January...Ill be back when I'm ready for the Xbox One X along with 4k movie purchases. I understand I have only had the TV for 2 days fully set up and if something occurs that's why i have the warranty for 5 years and after this experience I'm sure it will be resolved with great service(hopefully no issues). This TV rocks as far as the picture quality on my 4k Blue ray player, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 pro & Nintendo Switch is EXCELLENT on all 4 set ups. This is my first Samsung TV purchase and am more than satisfied with it and will recommend to EVERYONE. Lastly years from now when I look into making a new TV purchase again Samsung and Best Buy already have me committed. Sorry for the long read but sometimes you need the fine details to understand why to make the purchase and this Seller and Brand purchased are primo! You will be happy if not happier as I am. Thanks Best Buy for making my day.

    Only Problem Is WiFi

It's now $300 less than I paid for it a year ago on Black Friday. The picture quality on this model (8000) is amazing, and I've had it for a year before wifi started kicking out about two weeks ago. I googled and found that this is a common problem with this model, and that a soft reset usually helps (turn tv on, then hold power button down until it turns off and then turns back on) . Samsung phone rep took me back to factory setting, and it lasted one day. Found out about soft reset and have had to do it two days in a row... make that three. Today it lasted about 1 minute before disconnecting :( I would highly recommend this tv IF they fixed the wifi problem.

Quality mid tier 4K hdr tv for price

I’ve done a lot of research as I’m sure most people do before deciding on a tv upgrade. The last tv I purchased was a 2010 sharp aquos 60” 1080p 120hz non-smart LCD tv. Great deal back in 2010 but after comparing to this new tv, there is an incredible leap in tv technology. I thoroughly enjoy the one connect where all the hdmi, usbs, optical cables can be plugged in separate from the tv. It makes mounting the tv to the wall much cleaner when only one cable is run. The Xbox one x works great with this tv once you switch to game mode and figure out how to enable the hdr. The input lag is unnoticeable which is perfect for gamers. About the only con I’ve come across is that the remote will sometimes lose connection to the tv. Power button works but no other buttons respond. The only fix is to unplug the tv and plug it back in. This has happened twice within a month of purchase. A little annoying but the smart remote and hdmi-Cec enabled ports allow me to control my fire stick, fios set top box, my Xbox and through the ARC hdmi even control my old samsung 2.1 soundbar system. I had no idea what technology I was missing in my home entertainment until this tv. The best analog would be using a car without a back up camera for 10 years and buying a new car with a back up camera. Attached photos are the new Samsung tv and the old sharp it’s replaced. Still keeping the sharp tv as the basement tv for kids room.
