Customers are saying
Customers commend the 65" Class LED NU6070 Series 4K UHD TV for its exceptional picture quality and affordable price. Many users are pleased with the easy setup process and the TV's large screen size. It's great for the price, but issues may arise.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After less than 5 months of owning this TV I began to have problems with the picture. It shows bands/lines and funny colors and flashing. The problem persists after factory reset, unplugging all devices, plugged into wall or surge protector, and after a firmware update sent to me by Samsung to install manually via USB (wasn't available via TV download). It happens when watching via HDMI (chromecast & Xbox), via Coax (antenna TV), or via the Tv's apps (TV Plus, Pluto TV, etc). I have read that this model was created exclusively for Best Buy's Black Friday & worry it is a quality control issue. This TV also has less hdmi & usb ports than other Samsungs in this low tier, which didn't bother me, but I believe there are other issues with this model that won't be apparent for everyone, or only after some time. Luckily it is within the 1 year warranty & I am in the process of getting it fixed or replaced by Samsung.

4K is amazing on it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality (4K) for a just right size TV is so good. When I first turned it on, I was able to setup the TV thru an app (smart things) it suggested I download. Now if I misplace the remote and feel lazy to get up and look for it, I can go to the app thru my phone and operate the Tv thru the app. Would of given 5 stars, but then the apps the Tv have pre-installed on it stopped working. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I would have returned it but I already threw the Tv box away and I can always use the Xbox which also does 4k so Its not that big of a deal. Only 2 HDMI ports is a bit of a dealbreaker. So lots of having to move the TV and unplug multiple times to use all house entertainment items. There's hardly any lagging frame rate when playing games as well, compared to other huge Tvs this one is better on that. Overall a great TV purchase for the price.

Awesome TV at an unbeatable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this TV this morning and I can't believe the picture quality. This is an awesome value for $600. What you get for very pricey models is only a small incremental value that is not worth the cost. There are two HDMI ports which is enough for me (if you need more, you can buy a HDMI switch which is very cheap). It was very easy to setup.

Love this Tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew I wanted a 65 UHD for my particular application. Both for entertainment, and doubling as a large format UHD display for my computer. The salesman at the first place I went talked me into getting the comparable LG model. I returned it within a few days as the picture was terrible and one of the ports stopped working. At that point I was sure I wanted a Samsung so I went for this model and could not be happier. Picture is sharp and bright once you turn off the standard "energy saver" mode. There is some brightness falloff in the corners and along the sides, but that is to be expected with an entry level model like this and it's nothing like the LG which was impossible to see anything in the corners. I wish there was a 3rd HDMI port, but for the price this TV cannot be beat. Of note, the 6900 model only has 2.4ghz wireless. If you plan to rely on wireless for streaming instead of wired, I would recommend going up to the 6950 model for a couple bucks more that has 802.11ac wireless.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome TV for $600. Picked this up on pre-Black Friday sale. Sure there are other TVs with more features, but they cost a lot more. The picture quality from other the air, DVD, and Apple TV is quality. Love the built in apps. I wish they would have other apps, such as ESPN, ABC, etc. The owners manual is pretty low on information. For the most part, common sense will get your through the setup. We upgraded from a 42” plasma TV. What a difference in the picture quality. The TV is massive compared to what we had. Would recommend this for a 65” $600 TV.

Great Picture!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on Black Friday. Never thought such a good deal would turn out to be such a great tv! Beautiful pic, many custom settings. Don’t worry about just having 2 ports, order a switch. I’ve had expensive Samsung TVs for many years. This is the same quality as them. Very happy!

Awesome picture for the money spent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this TV a little over a month now! The picture quality is great and I didn’t have to break the bank buying it. I did have some trouble connecting it to the internet and Samsung’s customer service is not that great. Overall though the TV was worth the money spent.

Awesome TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on s black Friday special and we did all of our comparisons first. We're very happy with our 80" Samsung in the living room, so decided to put a 65" in the guest room. I must say the picture quality is excellent for the price. We could have paid more for the upgraded N700 series, but the price difference wasn't worth the new upgraded remote and higher speed. This model was equally as good for the features, size, and picture quality. Samsung never disappoints and this was a great buy!

Solid for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this TV with HDR for $599, the Black Friday price drop. Yes, it only has two hdmi plugins but so what? I needed a TV for the game room and this set does its job. Like others on here have stated, you can play with the settings to get it where you need it. It’s a solid TV, especially for the price. I have an AppleTV on it and PS4. Again, solid TV. Thank you Bestbuy for the price drop.

Great picture and sound!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, for the price this TV is amazing. The picture has great color and definition and the sound is definitely an upgrade from my 2011 Sharp LED. Still trying to get used to the App/ Smart TV settings but pretty user friendly interface. The app made it very difficult to make an account with samsung, had to use two different phones to accomplish. The design is sleek and simple which I prefer, but anything is an upgrade from what I am replacing. Only TWO HDMI ports though so beware.

4K UHD Awesomeness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think a lot of people dont know how to set this TV up properly. 1st off, yes, there are higher quality TVs out there... I bought this TV on Black Friday for $599 and an Xbox One X for $399, and a 4K HDMI cable. Goto "RTINGS.com" to properly configure this TV, or ANY TV you purchase from anywhere for that matter. For the best picture possible you HAVE to turn OFF "Digital Clean View," "Automotion Plus," "Eco Solution," and "Contrast Enhancer." Turn the backlight all the way UP. For gaming settings, put the TV in Game mode, and keep the above listed settings OFF. Again, look the TV up on "RTINGS.com" to set this up EXACTLY for the best picture. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Great big screen for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very happy to find a 65” tv on Black Friday for $599, especially since I didn’t “need” it. The picture seems to be great and the size of the screen really brings movies to life. My only criticism is that the volume does not get very loud when watching a blu-Ray movie. I’m not sure why because it can get loud when watching live tv or some things on YouTube. Overall I like the tv and feel I got a good deal.

Great TV for the price but has only 2 HDMI ports
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was one of the best sold TVs during black friday. Picture quality is amazing and the black is really black not like other cheap TVs. It is same TV as Samsung's 6900 but is a best buy spcific model with an addition of web brower. The only negative thing about TV is, no side ports and only 2 HDMI ports and a single USB port.

Picture is awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 55" HDTV that was about 5 years old. The 4K picture looks really good - especially after installing the 4K HDMI cable. Picture quality is great. Added a Samsung sound bar also. Negatives are only 2 HDMI ports, and still having to use the optic cable to connect the sound bar - instead of bluetooth wirelessly.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased our new TV online on Black Friday and it was delivered on Sunday same week. Easy setup and in a few minutes we were watching TV with some amazing resolution. Easy to use, my only negative comment is that we would have liked an additional HDMI connection (there are only 2) but that’s it. Everything else is great!

Big Screen, Good Features, Lacking Picture Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL:DR, I am very happy with my purchase. Picture quality not the greatest. Has all of my needed features, Missed some of my wanted features. I bought this knowing that the picture quality would not be the greatest. The bigger screen was what mattered to me. That being said, it's not like you are not getting a good picture, it is just not as good as other comparatively priced TVs. I traded screen size for picture quality and have no regrets what so ever. The feature set is good, the only check box that I think it is lacking is Dolby Vision.. Good set of apps? Check. HLG,? Check, HDR10+? Check. Good set of Screen/Picture Quality adjustments? Check. A few things that I would have liked but don't have are better picture quality, Dolby Vision, Freesync and more than 2 HDMI ports. The last was low on my list since I use a receiver to connect my devices.

Great product for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really dont know why anybody would complain. It's a great TV for the price. Are there bigger and better ones out there? Of course there is. When you're on a budget you cant go wrong with this one. Literally my only complaint is 2 hdmi hook ups. But I solved that by buying a 5 port switcher. I bought this TV mainly for video games and I'd do it all over again if i had to without hesitation.
