No Over the Air TV option available!

Frequently disconnects from Wifi

TV Failed before a year

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As stated, the screen began to show vertical lines on the left hand side around the 6 month mark. We contacted Samsung who scheduled an authorized repair company to replace the screen. Before they arrived with that screen, the TV stopped working all together. They still came and replaced the screen only to find out the main board went bad. So they had to order that part and schedule another time to come back and put in the main board. So now, 3 weeks later, the main board was replaced and the replacement screen sent by Samsung is defective (missing about 4 inches on the right hand side with vertical lines throughout the screen). So now Samsung is sending ANOTHER new screen and we had to schedule a 3rd visit for them to come to our house and repair the TV. We are now going on over a month without our TV and football is starting up!!! We typically have people over on Sundays to watch the games and we cannot do that this week! This is my last Samsung TV. I will be buying LG or Sony from now on.

Stops apps for no reason

terrible picture

We watched a few shows and any FAST PACE setting you'll see the pixels line out, so you get a lot of weird sharps in you pictures which is ANNOYING. For $599 it should've been at least working correctly.

Wifi wouldn't connect

It would connect to the Wifi but say no internet connection. All my other devices and TV's were connected and working. So I thought the Wifi might have some problem. Called the internet provider and reset everything and it still would say no internet connection. Reset everything on the TV too but still wouldn't work. So finally I decided to exchange it and got an LG instead. Saw a bunch of reviews on Samsung website and a lot of customers are having this problem.

Don't buy if you want it to last more than 6 month

Well here we are six months later and the picture cuts off (goes black) but the sound stays on. Contacted Samsung since it has a 1 year warranty - That is worthless. When contacting them they advised me it was Netflix issue to which I replied that streaming services are not used and I needed a technician to service the TV. The Samsung rep then said it was an issue with my cable provider. Well my cable provider was out yesterday and stated it was an issue with the TV (picture cuts out when using an antenna also). When the rep was informed of this the next reply was, Oh its a problem with your HDMI cable - go buy a new one, and that should fix it. This is the last Samsung TV I will purchase EVER!!! Really frustrating the lack of customer service provided by Samsung - and the disregard of their so called 1 year manufacturers warranty.
