Terrible TV - Do not waste your money on this!!

Poor picture quality and the sound is terrible. I made a huge mistake thinking this TV was a good buy because of the price. I immediately want back to the store after I installed it and asked if it could be returned. Associate said I had until January 12, 2019 to return it so I immediately ordered the Samsung QLED 65”!! I’ve learned a huge lesson about buying “Black Friday” deals.

Broke after 6 months

I have been working with Geek Squad for a month and a half and finally after two bad panels I can replace the TV or continue to try new panels that take two weeks to get delivered. I got the warranty and to replace the TV means I use up all of my TWO year warranty, and will have to buy a new warranty if I want coverage moving forward. Moral of the story, make sure you’re buying a good product by doing research and not just looking for a good deal, and make sure you understand the warranty.

Originally a Black Friday purchase to upgrade our 50" TV and the display failed after 2 months. It took me 2 weeks to replace it through Samsung and I got another one thinking this was just a fluke. Clearly it is not a fluke and I am seeing in other reviews many have had similar issues. This second one took 7 months to fail but did the exact same thing. I've learned that you never should buy a model specifically put out for Black Friday. This model has certainly soured my view towards Samsung TVs.

Blinking last row of pixels

And the screen has a white spot caused of light leakeage on the top right area...Samsung maybe started to loose quality.

Power bottom both tv and remote

It takes more than 3 time clicking the power bottom on both tv and remote controller. No matter how many times when the tv was on off or sleep mode, it take a very long time to turn on ones the power on bottom was click ones, twice, thrice,....I already complained to the manufacturer. Service came 3 times yet it was not resolve. I won’t recommend to purchase this type of smart tv. Very disappointing!

Lots of Problems

The repair service Samsung was going to send from St. Louis wouldn’t travel 50 miles to my location, said it was too far but Samsung did ship me out a new & and upgraded model & were very good to deal with. Great customer service, just took a little while to get the new one. My suggestion get the 7100 series, so far it’s great!

Problem with picture

Samsung had a tech come up and replace parts and fix. This was under regular warranty. The lines are again occurring. The television is only a year and half old. This is first time I’ve had any issues with a Samsung TV but this should not be occurring.

Waste of money died after 13 months

Started having issues with bluetooth connectivity dropping after 6 months and had to cable it into network then entire tv died after 13 months. TV got a grey screen and never showed a picture again. Apparently this is considered an irregular model and only sold at best buy.
