Poor Quality I regret buying rather have my LG Television back.

This tv is made solely for Best Buy. It's stripped down with 2 hdmi ports. The best feature is the size at 65". The TCL 55" R615 has a superior picture using Dolby Vision that outperforms Dolby HDR 10 in this screen. So, it comes down to wanting a bigger Samsung 65" screen that will likely be gone instantly as a door buster or the smaller 55" TCL with a superior picture and fully available. The samsung is $600 only on black friday and the TCL is currently $600. Just my 2 cents. Here's a good comparison of the HDR10 vs Dolby Vision. I'm confused why everyone that makes it seem like they know everything about technology would stoop so low & buy such a cheap tv only to come on & write bad reviews about it. The specs are all there before purchasing. If you don't like it, go ahead & spend your $$ on a $2k+ tv. I have only bought Samsung tvs way back to the tube tv days & have never had an issue. I bought this to replace a 50" plasma that has been faithfully good to me for the past 9 years. Decided to upgrade & have not been disappointed. Just watched the Browns win on Sunday & loved every minute of it. Movies play great, the sound sounds as though I have surround sound. The picture is crystal clear. It's a great buy for a 65" tv. Period.

Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Like others, I purchased this TV as part of Best Buy’s Black Friday deal in 2018. I’ve used this TV consistently for the past 11 months and the TV applications are truly a highlight for me, especially at this price point. It’s great to be able to access YouTube, Amazon prime, Hulu, HBOGO, Netflix, and other applications all from my TV. The picture quality is pretty good too. There are a few drawbacks, however. For example, my sounds sometimes cuts off unexpectedly (sometimes multiple times a day) and about once a month the TV for some reason won’t connect to the internet even though all of my other devices can connect to WIFI with no problem.

Not sure how you'd give this television anything less than 5 stars for the sale price or for the regular price. I got mine for $599 and I couldn't be happier. Great picture. I put mine in "movie" mode and everything looks right, not blown out and overly bright. The speakers could be better, but I've got a sound bar I paid $70 for that's light years better than any flat panel speakers anyway so what do I care about tv speakers? Don't hesitate to buy this tv at $599. It's a great deal.

This TV is incredible! It has been working since 2018 without any issues. I’ll definitely purchase the latest model when this one eventually gives out.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from but football games have NEVER looked better than on this set. Zero flickering, crystal clear vibrant colors. I'm using Dish network but also accessed my Vudu account and watched an UHD movie. Again incredible experience. Two HDMI ports? All I need. Best $599 I've spent in a long time. Literally dwarfs out my 40" Visio. Very happy!

I thought I had learned my lesson... make sure to try the TV BEFORE mounting it on the wall to make sure it works. I did and it looked great! Nice picture and quality I would expect from Samsung. Took me a couple of hours but I got everything done and sat down with my wife to watch a movie. It was really nice - not a great picture but still good. 30 minutes into the movie the sound cut out and it wouldn't respond to the remote. I unplugged it and let it sit. Then tried again. 10 minutes later the same thing happened. I checked for firmware updates - nope I had the most recent. I reset the TV back to factory and changed nothing and tried again. This time it stopped recognizing anything plugged into the 2 HDMI ports. Another hour to take the piece of trash off the wall, unhook it all and stuff it back in the box. Now I need to return it. Let me also say - Best Buy has been good to me in the past but when I called about this the best they could do was suggest I go out of my way - again - and return it. Then wait a week for another of the same TV to show up and go in - again - to pick that up. Nothing else - just a straight exchange a week later. No thanks. I'll take my money back and run.

I had a 55in Roku TV and got this TV, it's good for what you pay for, mainly for the big screen. It's not old, but not new with all of the new tech you get with TV's over 1-2k or oled. It is 4k, I can see the difference but like most people say, it's marginal. don't get this just for the 4k, as it's a marginal upgrade if you use netflix or other streaming media. Also, most movies are encoded 2k and upscaled to 4k. You are best off with Youtube to get the bette "4k" experience. Game mode is buried in the menu, and there is motion blur that I cant seem to tweak just right when there is a lot of movement. This is a good TV if you are looking for a bigger screen with "ok" 4k as long as you know that it's mostly upscaled at the moment. As for my xbox one x and PS4 slim...it does a better job as a gaming TV than movies...Also, the speakers point down from the bottom of the TV, so a Samsung soundbar should be considered.

I bought this TV to replace an old Samsung plasma that has lasted over a decade and still produced a great image. I plugged in this TV and was immediately disappointed. My HD cable looked like trash. I tried to watch the Notre Dame game and their gold helmets looked like flashing disco balls and any movement on the screen blurred the image of the player. I tried adjusting all the settings and all the other online recommendations, nothing helped. I am hoping it is due to the refresh rate only being 60hz, taking it back to try a 120hz TV. Watching a slow moving video on Netflix or YouTube did look fine. And still images panned around like what they do in the stores looked amazing. It is just sports and action that cause the issue. If you don't like sports or high-paced action films you would probably rate this TV much better, but not for me!

I've had my baby since 2018 and she is still working amazingly !!!! This was a smart purchase

I bought it during the Black Friday sale and I am not disappointed. It is my first TV in this country and I honestly love it. I have no issues with the quality of picture or sound. Is there something better out there? Sure, but you need to pay $$$$ for it so for the price it's perfect. I trust Samsung products and I am happy with my purchase.

This tv is beautiful. Beautiful picture and sound. HOWEVER the direct tv now app works terribly on this. You cannot use the dvr playback without it freezing. Samsung has this issue with all of its TVs. Just use a fire stick instead. Also Samsung has it so you can’t switch between Hulu profiles. Overall it’s a great deal until you have to deal with certain apps.

I purchased this tv on Black Friday for $599, and I think the picture is great. I only have one complaint and that's the sound that's why I didn't give this tv a 5. Nothing a sound bar can't take of!

The standard settings on this TV are horribly wrong. That is why it's getting so many bad reviews. The following is what I did to get a great picture. 1. Ditch the "Eco Solution" settings. I turned ambient light detection and power saving mode off. 2. Auto Motion Plus was making me sick just watching the TV. I turned this off. Hope this helps out a few before they return the TV.

I am really happy with my purchase. I bought this TV as a pre-Black Friday special for $599.99. I was expecting a decent quality 4k TV and that is just what I got. Yes, it is true that there are better 4k TV's out there but for the price I got, I wouldn't change a thing. The picture quality is great and I haven't had any issues.

We bought this TV on black Monday and it was free shipping to our house. My review is WOW I love this TV. Yeah it doesn't have all the bells and whistles the higher priced model have but for 599.00 It was a steal. We hooked it up to our surround sound system and WOW again. 5 stars !!
