I had five years warranty and TV went out before it hit 5 years mark. I wish I had my old Samsung which is way better quality than this new one.

They want me to pay a technician to come look at it. The TV was purchased just 2 years ago. In my home I have two TVs, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove/oven which are all older than this TV but have not malfunctioned. There is something wrong with this model TV and LG does not want to make it right. If it were a car there would be a recall on it. I guess I'll be moving on to Samsung products.
