    So I bought this TV because Spetrcum/Time Warner said the app would work with any Samsung Smart TV. Wrong, only does it work with 8K series and above. So I had to buy Roku in order for it to work. Nobody was aware of this at Best Buy until mid way through Jan 2019

      The Spectrum app should work with all of our 2018 TV series.
      Please check to ensure that your TV is updated with the latest firmware version 1202.3

      TV Menu : Settings ->Support -> Software Update -> Update Now

    Great TV but had wireless connection wouldn’t work

    Turns out mother board was bad preventing wireless connection from sticking (it would connect but drop). I spent $500 on a mesh network thinking that was issue..Samsung had to come replace parts costing me time and money. Probably didn’t meet the mesh network.

    When I got this and took ot home it has a slight shadow appearance. I assumed it was the setting and tried to adjust it with no luck. Later on the shadow effect was so bad I called geek squad just for them to tell me it had an "internal crack" and it was not covered. It was less than 6 months after I bought it and never had been hit at all. And since it was a problem from the start I assume I got one damaged during delivery but since I didnt return it asap I'm out all my money for a tv that doesnt work anymore and the protection plan i got didnt cover it.

    What a waste of money. Very disappointed with this product. Too many issues to address but here are a few. While streaming, programs skip constantly. Doesn’t synce with the sound bar. Directv Now app is old and won’t update. Read reviews that its a Samsung issue. Won’t recognize my other WiFi network. Again, read it’s a Samsung issue. The only plus is when I get the tv to actually work the way it’s supposed to the picture is amazing. Final review, buy Sony or another brand. Stay away from this particular model.

    We bought this TV because we have always been huge Samsung fans and this TV had all the specs we were looking for just under our budget. However, after about a week of owning the TV we regretted buying this one. The quality is meh, I've seen much better on a cheaper Vizio. But the worst thing about this TV is the remote and the fact that it randomly shuts off CONSTANTLY! Very disappointed with Samsung for putting out a TV that is so poorly made.

    Bought this TV and I had to return it 3 days after the motion refresh rate its not that good. It made me kind of dizzy when watching action movies. I ended up with one from the 8 series its worth the money

    I had to bring this one back, maybe I got in on a bad batch this time, the screen had a glitch in it, and I will recommend this product, one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch..! I have 4 more

    Pictures great in cinema mode for 4K, but any other picture setting make the picture later and distort leading to huge pixelations in 4k movies. Wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

    it’s pretty basic in setup however it is glitch city!! lots of upkeep for streaming and horrible picture if the room is even a little bright good for a basic tv kids stuff

    Motion rate 240 makes all the difference, if you going to spend 800-900 just wait and get the eight series for a few hundred more it’s worth it

    I was excited about our first Samsung. Unfortunately, not much thought went into the IR receiver placement for the remote control, They placed it at the bottom center of the TV instead of the sides. We, like millions of others, have a sound bar. It’s small but with the short TV stand, the sound bar blocks the signal. We have to stand up or reach way above our heads to use the remote. Every other brand we’ve had placed these on the sides and spent a few extra cents on plastic to create taller stands. This one will be going back for a different brand.

    I am very disappointed that the tv will only connect to the 2g internet, not the 5g. My iPad connects to the 5g in the same location.
