    I have/had Samsung TVs, Always liked em. This one I do not. Holiday model Look elsewhere unless it’s cheap and you’re not afraid to mess around with settings. I bought this for 849, 1 month later and the 7100 was 849. The picture is ok, there’s some pixel, shutter, flicker issues. if you enable the options for such issues you get unbearable soap opera effect. I’d give it 2.5 if I paid less for it, i did finally get it tuned to an acceptable picture. But honestly if I could afford it i would donate it and buy a better one

    My 1st smart TV, it turns on by itself randomly

    It’s a good TV, but I need to figure out how to prevent it from turning on spontaneously. This happens in the middle of the night sometimes and is really annoying.

    Picture quality at best buy was great when it was on display so I bought one thinking it will be the same but it was totally opposite when connected my cable

    This TV came with free Galaxy Tab E but I decided to get the 8000 series even though it didn't come with free Tablet. Graphics were still awesome.

    I bought this t.v. as a black Friday deal. Was worth the money but not what I was hoping for from a 4k tv. My old vizio hd l.e.d. is just as good.

    This TV does not support 5ghz wifi connection, It only supports 2.4ghz.There are many$300-$400 TVs that support both wifi connections,don't buy this tv.

    It freezes sometimes, or gets distorted. Don't know why but I heard it is a common problem. If I knew I would've look for something else.

    We’ve had this TV for about 2 years now but started having issues about 6 months ago. This was a good buy at the time but not a good value for such a short run time. The HDMI connections slowly began to fail one by one as well as all the audio connections. Troubleshooting points toward a failed motherboard but it’s about $250 to get the service tech out and likely another $300+ to replace the board. The tv picture is fine but we can only watch wireless channels or apps, and can’t use the surround sound system. To top it off, the internet connection frequently drops so you never know if you’re going to get to watch anything at all. This is our main Tv in the family room so not so much fun for movie night. We have four TVs in the house and all are Samsung except for one. This is also the second 55”+ tv we’ve owned, the last was a Samsung projection TV. I would say the brand was very reliable but I’ve noticed a gradual drop in quality. I’m very disappointed to only have this tv work just beyond the warranty period, and of course not much help from Samsung. I’ll be looking at other brands to replace this TV.

    Clunky menus, apps are very slow, good tv for the deal I got it for but would spend more to get a better day to day experience.

    Minus a star for the original unit that arrived with a dead HDMI panel.Called Samsung support to have them verify my finding. BB quickly replaced without question after single call. New unit arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The picture is not as good as we expected after seeing it on the demo floor at the store. The TV states it's receiving a strong UHD/4K signal, just not a great picture - but okay for the money.

    TV died 1 month before it was paid off. Only lasted 11 months. Took 4 months to get a replacement.

    Bought this television set because the salesman talked me into it =-- first purchase for my new home . Watching the television it will pause for 2 minutes in the program then it will start. Does it all the time -- don't have capability of bringing it back nor do I have money to pay a tech to come out and see what is wrong with the tv.
