Bought this to replace and older plasma and go up in size. I am very pleased with the picture quality. Watched the Super Bowl and NHL on it and have seen no issues with picture speed. Paired it with a new Polk Soundbar and it was totally plug and play. Very easy set up. I am sure if you spend twice as much or more there are better TV's out there but for the price this is a great TV and exactly what I was looking for. Also a nice feature is that it has an HDMI ARC port so I only needed to run one HDMI cable to the TV but can listen to cable, smart TV functions, Blue Ray player, etc through the soundbar.

My only issue with this TV is that it has turned on a couple times in the middle of the night on it's own. There are no timers of any kind set that I know of. It's been just a little bit frustrating the times that it has happened, because I don't know what's causing it and it's wasting unnecessary electricity because no one is sitting in front of it and watching it when it turns itself on. Other than that, it really is a pretty solid TV and I'm very happy with it. I'd be more concerned if it were turning itself "OFF", as that would definitely be an issue that would warrant a return. As for the fact that it has turned itself "on" a couple of times? For all I know, a neighbor could possibly have the same TV and may be unknowingly turning my TV on with their remote! It happens. Haha! :)

Upgraded from our old Toshiba Regza 47" LCD TV. Once we put together and connected this 65" Samsung 4k, an upgrade is exactly what it was. So much easier on the eyes! Clear detailed picture with really nice sound using the amplified sound setting. I did a lot of researching and went into to Best Buy a few times to do TV comparisons, the Vizio, LG, and Sony all have nice screens in this particular class, but in my opinion pound for pound this was the TV for us and have no regrets. Recommend doing your research & compare, and go with what you feel comfortable with and what appeals to you.

After a week less than a week with my Samsung NU65U7100 I am less than happy. First, there is no 5G wireless connection. You need 5G to stream video at 4K resolution, so this is a serious shortcoming in the design. Now I'll need to rewire so I can run an ethernet cable from my router to the TV. Second, the TV has been turning itself on sporadically, 3 times in the last 36 hours. There are long and lengthy on-line discussions of this issue on Samsung TVs indicating possible issues with HDMI ARC cables, AnyNet setting, etc. but no clear solution. Samsung has not yet responded to my request for technical support. These are serious flaws and I may return the TV because of them. Less serious, the remote and TV interface are clunky. I have an older 55" Samsung 4K TV with a streamlined remote and a much easier/intuitive interface There is no analog audio output so I may need to upgrade my receiver or buy a sound bar if I keep the TV. Picture is great and sound quality it good (but lacks bass). Streaming from my laptop to the TV was unwatchable. It constantly buffered. I use an HDMI cable instead. I can't recommend this TV right now, even at the recently reduced prices.

It is an excellent tv. Love watching movies on this. The only downside is that it needs more hdmi ports.

I purchased this television to replace a Samsung 60" 6350 from 2014. The picture on it is fantastic. I prefer a VA panel to an IPS and I think for the money that the picture on this TV is really nice. The one drawback it has is motion handling. Watching the football games this weekend was a bit of a chore because it was so blurry. I'm planning on returning this TV and spend the extra money to upgrade to the NU8000 with a native 120HZ refresh rate.

TV took some tweaking once it was out of the box. I had to turn off all the auto motion stuff and disable the eco mode to make the screen brighter and it made a world of difference, great picture. It loses a star because this model does not operate on 5ghz WIFI, which shocked me and they dont exactly make that information available in the specs section.

I went to best buy to look at a 65" Qled the list was $1300.00, I always buy Samsung, then I saw a 65" Samsung for $699.00, To me that was a buy, the picture is great of course the sound you need a sound bar or Receiver. All these TVs are LED, and your networks put out in 1080i. The pictures in the store are 1080p which of course is better. Great TV.

Best I have ever had!!! This TV is far better than my last big screen tv which had been a really good one. Easy to set up but the best is the picture. You won't go wrong with this model!!! Best purchase I have made in years. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking I could get a crystal clear picture, I bought a 65 samsung Q8. Save your money you don't need anything more than a regular hd. WHY, cause nobody, direct tv or xfinity/comcast broadcast any shows that you would normally watch like discovery abc, nbc, all of them in 4k. Direct tv only offers three channels that you will never watch and xfinity only does netflix which I don't subscribe to. I currently have direct tv which is the only service that offers the nfl sunday ticket. I thought I'd be able to watch sports in 4k. NOPE! Therefore no reason to buy super expensive tv cause it does nothing that a regular hd tv would do. I'm very disapointed and angry that the salesman did not disclose that there are only a few channels available in 4k. One's you'll never use! Eventually they will broadcast in 4k but according to the installer that was here today to install 4k that won'r be for a while. A year at least. btw I refused to get 4k genie from direct tv because I didn't want to pay $99 for nothing.

I love this TV so much. I bought it for my apartment and I got the 65 inch one. I haven't had any problems with it so far. It works great, the sound and video quality are great as well.

I bought this TV 3/15/2019 and the back lighting has gone out on a quarter of the panel. I loved this TV and I'm sad it only lasted 4-5 years, I have CRT TVs still going stronger.

Very nice tv. Purchased in 2018 and picture remains good. Upgrading to the newest version though

We have enjoyed this tv the last 3 years, no issues and picture and sound are great.

I love this tv but it has a dark shadow on the left side now and apparently this happens with Samsung tvs. It just started happening with my tv and after researching online, this is common with Samsung. Just had to buy a new tv and it definitely wasn’t Samsung.

Great picture, but screen has gone dark after 4 years of light use. Not worth the money.

The picture on this thing is amazing. I researched TV's for months before settling on this one. I have no regrets.
