Power cycling and poor wifi connectivity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Add me to the list of people who had problems with this TV about 5 weeks after purchase. It started small enough, with the screen freezing a few times and sound getting "stuck" for lack of a better term. Its gotten progressively worse, and it only goes 15 minutes then it will freeze and turn off, then back on, usually every 5 to 10 minutes. In addition, the wifi connectivity is marginal, at best. I know the wifi is working, as i verified on my phone, but the tv drops the connection half the time, is slow to load apps, and half the time freezes and wont load anything. Did i mention this tv freezes up, a lot? Its better at freezing up and power cycling than it is at being a tv. Im so disappointed. Samsung has had a great reputation for being high quality, its too bad that ill never buy another one. And their customer support, or should i say lack thereof, as i cant even get in touch with them.

Connecting to the internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The problem I have with this TV is it always loses connection to the internet, I have two other smart TVs that do not have that problem I have to unplug the TV and plug it back in for the TV to connect to the internet, I wish I could return it and get something else

Misleading / Inaccurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I demo-ed this TV in store with an employee who showed me how to use the Samsung Smart Control Remote. However, this model does NOT come with a smart remote, but rather a basic looking TV remote. I confirmed this on Samsung's website, which means the floor models at Best Buy are inaccurate and the demo provided by the associate was misleading. Would have been nice to know before I spent an hour unboxing and setting up at home. On top of that, most of the content on my Plex server gave errors on this TV and there are several forum posts saying that Samsung has issues with their Plex app. In comparison, the Plex app on my Roku does not give the same errors.

picture quality so bad

Don't waste your money or time.

This happened randomly, the left side of the screen just became black and stopped working. Will never buy another samsung product again, cheap and a waste of money.

Unfortunately for me i bought 3 in the series as i just moved to a new house. One of the 3 all of a sudden went dark and all 3 TVs constantly disconnect from the wifi.

Bad luck with this TV

Best Buy replaced it with another NU7100...and after less than a week, a thin blue line appeared on the screen. After that, I paid the difference for an NU8000. Two bad 7100s....can't recommend it.

Not Good

Don’t Buy
