Picture quality is extremely good. Sound quality also seems very good, although I now have a Samsung HW-MS650/ZA soundbar connected to the TV. Great 4K TV and now under $900.00. I don't believe there is a better 4K TV out there for this price!!!

Bought this tv on sale Memorial day weekend while on sale, and I must say this set really brings out the best in colors! Very deep blacks and one of the few LED sets I've found that didn't suffer from vertical banding. Don't hesitate on buying this tv!

Decent picture, performs as it should, 1 remote is a totally awesome, works with everything.

This TV has a great picture for watching regular programming. I have cable tv with the source into the box by coaxial and hdmi from the box to the tv. The Samsung I replaced had some problems with sports but not like this one. The juddering makes watching football almost impossible. I researched settings on the internet and tried them all - called Samsung and they remoted in - no change. I wanted to like this TV and when watching regular stuff - its great but I love sports and can't watch football on it. Returning it for another brand.

I spent a couple months researching what tv to replace our aging Sony Bravia flat screen with, and finally settled on this tv for overall features, size, and value. Major mistake on my part. The Tv arrived undamaged, but once set up (no easy feat for a tv this size!) I excitedly turned it on. the picture was amazing! I was sure I made the right choice. But after just 5 minutes of running when I looked at the tv again, the brightness had for some reason turned so high the screen was almost completely washed out in white. I tried changing settings, resetting the picture and resetting the entire thing back to factory original settings. Nothing helped. I turned it off and back on, and the picture was fine again... for 5 minutes. So I called Samsung, the tech took me through a pile of settings, only to finally tell me it had a problem we could not fix. I expected some offer of repair or replacement for this tv, but when he entered the serial number of the unit, told me my warranty expired 6 months ago? I asked if it was previously owned and he said no, but that Samsungs policy was to actually start the warranty period as it comes off the assembly line. I told him I bought it brand new, and had owned it for ONE DAY! He then told me to mail in my receipt and the "warranty department" would review it adjust the warranty period if they determined it was warranted. A process that could take weeks. Needless to say, I returned it to where I got it from (not qvc unfortunately) and am sad to say after years of purchasing Samsung products, will never buy them again.

First of all, I love the quality of the picture, the sound quality and the size. I think it's a great TV for the price. My exception comes in on the WIFI capability and I've read numerous reviews on other tech sites from people with the same complaint about this TV. I can barely stream a show on any of the apps (Amazon, Hulu, etc.) without losing the internet signal and the TV freezing up. I used the Amazon Fire Box on my older Samsung and it worked flawlessly. My laptops, tablets, phones and PS4 all work fine in the same room but the TV won't hold a signal. I've connected my Fire Box to the TV and it works fine. It's a work-around but that defeats the purpose of having a "Smart TV." I should've taken those negative reviews more seriously but I've been a loyal Samsung TV owner for nearly 20 years.

Samsung provides 4 wall mounting spacers with this TV but no mounting screws. On top of that, I believe that two different screw lengths are needed in order to account for the curvature of the back of the TV. The small set-up manual included with the TV and Samsung e-manual provide zero guidance with this matter. You'd think that Best Buy might recommend the necessary screws upon checking out during the online purchasing process but that's not the case either. I'm going to order longer m8 screws online (not through Best Buy) and, hopefully, that will work. If not, I may wind up returning the TV. That said, the TV picture quality is satisfactory.

I originally bought a Vizio P65 and 2 days after having the tv it quit connecting to the internet. I decided to trade the Vizio for the Samsung 8000 and I am glad I did. The Samsung operates a lot smoother and has more features. I also like how the tv has voice command built into the remote. If you want a really nice tv and do not want to pay 1500 dollars or more than I would recommend this one!

Great gaming TV for the price. Zero input delay when playing Xbox on this tv. Also good for sporting events!

I had originally went to BestBuy last night to look at the LG 65" sk8000 as it supports Dolby Vision as well as HLG and HDR-10. The salesman told me they didn't have it in stock and sold me on getting this tv instead. He repeatedly assured me that it supported Dolby Vision and was a great cable/satellite 1080i/1080p to 4K upscaler. It wasn't until I got home, unpacked it, and set it up that I realized he had lied on both fronts. This does a HORRIBLE job at upscaling my Xfinity cable (1080i) connection and does NOT support Dolby Vision. In fact, despite postive upscaling reviews online, the upscaler is so bad that my parents older Toshiba (which only costed them $300+) does a much better job up upscaling from 1080i/1080p. The Samsung NU8000 makes everyone and everything (other than still pics and 4k media look blurry/muddy, with tiny pixelated dots (digital remnants) in areas like eyes and mouths or basically in any moving areas. The motion also looks a bit weird and not natural at all. All in all, I am very disappointed with this tv and will be returning it today for a refund. Helpful tip: When purchasing a tv, remember to do your homework first. Also, remember that tvs on display are playing 4k media not streaming cable tv. So, you cannot test their upscaling capabilities unless the salesperson actually switches the tv to cable input. So ask them to switch it before you buy.
