I had no intention of purchasing a new TV. However, when my other Samsung TV stopped working for the 4th time and was no longer under warranty, is when I had no other choice. After reading all the reviews and looking at the customer posted pictures, which were absolutely fantastic. This TV is great. Easy to setup, hook up and connect. The picture is stunning. I really like the stand, how I could get the cables to be completely hidden was a pleasant surprise. The remote does take some getting used to but not long before you're able to get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone.

This tv is great! The sound quality is good as well but sometimes I hear an echo. But once I use my sound bar it goes away. The 4K feature is wonderful but you only really enjoy it on certain networks that actually stream in 4K (which is something I did not know before purchasing). But most of the networks I watch (e.g msnbc, tlc, cnn) all stream in 4K. There are lots of apps on this smart tv which is awesome but i rarely use them because I can access many of my favorite apps from my cable menu...but it’s still great to have access to so many apps on the tv itself.

This is my 2nd Samsung 4k tv and once again I am pleased with the purchase. The first one is a 6000 series and resides in the man cave. I decided I should share the wealth and get one for the family room. This time I went up to the 8000 series and it is worth the extra $. Picture is amazing, smart features work well, even the speakers sound good. Some reviewers said the speakers were not loud enough but I adjusted the sound mode to 'optimized' and it is loud enough for us and the large room that the tv is in. Definitely happy with this TV! Family is too!

This is a great television. Excellent picture. Excellent Smart TV. You can download any app you need right onto the tv. No need for an amazon box/stick, or roku, or whatever. I am good with four hdmi inputs, but I wish that there was one more. I use this TV mostly for watching Netflix, Youtube, and playing PS4. The gaming mode (which turns on automatically) is great. No lag or anything. I also watch baseball on the TV, and I haven't noticed any motion blur. If I had to change anything, I would add one more HDMI input.

Great refresh rate, great quality, clear sound. One remote works for tv and cable box.

We're really enjoying the Samsung 65" Smart 4k Led TV. I thought this TV would consume the living space but really looks great on or off. Better than going to the movies any day! The picture is crystal clear. You can adjust the sharpness, resolution and much more. The remote is just as stream line as the TV, having very few buttons to navigate with. A great TV which really lives up to the Samsung brand.

This is a great TV for the money. I was originally looking at certain OLED TV's but the thought of "picture burn in" especially with kids really turned me off. I now own two of these TV's and have had no issues with heavy use between my wife, myself and my 3 kids. It is very easy for the kids to learn how to use netflix and video game systems as they come right up on the menu. I would not hesitate to buy another Samsung Series 8, you really get a great value for your money.

Setup was simple and quick. Picture quality excellent and the sound from TV itself is decent. Controls are user friendly.

Great picture and sound quality at a reasonable price! Provides a great quality picture, without having that "fake look". Has good sound, even though I will be getting a soundbar to enhance the sound and double as a speaker system. There is no glare from the sun when the shades are open. You can see the screen details with no problem. Very fast response time!!! From turning it on and off and changing channels and volume etc. Comes with already integrated with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu Apps, etc.

I got this on Black Friday for under $1k and the picture is impressive so far. The set up was super easy and the smart remote is a nice improvement over my last Samsung tv. The improved mobile app is really nice as well. I will update soon

We bought this TV on a whim during the holiday rush. The picture is amazing! Our favorite part is how the refresh rate keeps up beautifully when watching sports. Other Tv’s we have had looked great during movies but lost quality during fast moving sports like football and basketball. Not this TV! The picture always looks amazing. The coloring is realistically vibrant. Finally, it looks perfect no matter is we are watching movies, sports, or the news. It was well worth the cost.

Bought just before black Friday 2018, I'm here to tell you this is by far the easiest TV to set up. All connections made and setup in in a flash it recognized all inputs and labeled them. It's kinda scary how smart this thing is. I was worried about sound output for such a largeTV. But this one has wonderful sound output. Dont even need to buy sound bar. All around great purchase!!

The Samsung NU8000 is a versatile 4k LED TV with good picture quality and HDR support. It also has great motion handling, as only a short trail follows fast moving objects and the TV can flicker to clear up blur. The smart features also work well and the platform is intuitive. The TV includes the Bixby assistant for voice control. Unfortunately, the picture quality degrades when viewed at an angle and vertical blooming is visible in a completely dark room.

This was the easiest setup ever. I wanted a smart tv and this more than filled the bill. The picture is incredible. A number of my friends have inquired about it. So far, I couldn't be happier with this tv. I am running both over the air antenna and wireless internet (Hulu and Amazon Prime) so that I could cut the dish out. I am now saving a ton of money (over $100 a month) and getting all the channels I had and then some. Sports and movies look amazing.

Just bought a new house and so glad we got rid of our old projection TV before we moved. This TV is awesome! The picture quality and ease of use and so many app options. It easily connected with all of our electronics in the house, including an old laptop. We purchased another smart TV brand that is not able to talk to the old laptop. I've always been happy with Samsung.

We were not sure how well we would like the large 65" Samsung replacing our 42" in our Den but after setting the TV up, which was relatively easy, we are very pleased with the picture and performance of the TV. We also watched the Black Friday deals and we actually received the best deal for the TV. Good feeling knowing we bought the set at the best price. Looking forward to learning and using the many elements of this 8000 series Samsung 65" TV.

I love Samsung products and have bought them in the past. The picture quality of this tv did not disappoint. It is great even in a sunny room and at all angles. That stated right off, I have to say I was surprised at many of the lower standard annoyances we encountered with this tv. Stand that was included, not very sturdy for such a large and expensive tv (65"). One thin center pedestal and a small thin horizontal strip to balance on. Can easily topple if bumped or young kids touch the screen. Had to strap tv to the table for security. The speakers are located in the back of tv, so sound doesn't project out into the room. Cranked it up full blast (99) and still not very loud. Needed to connect a separate sound system. Instructions for set up very lacking. One scant page of vague instruction, no help line, email, website, or tech phone # to contact with questions anywhere. Took 3 hours to figure it out and get it to play in HD image. Really satisfied with this tv now, but you better be tech savvy to set up or enlist help, expect to use a separate sound system, if you plan on hanging it on a wall you'll be all set since it's very thin and light, but if you want it on a tv table, buy a better stand or security straps for safety.
