great color and very easy set up sound is terrific

I love the small remote control!! It's so easy to use with minimal buttons, though I wish it had back lighting for nite use. This 4k television looks amazing. Easy to choose out of Best Buy's awesome selection and very knowledgeable staff. I could spend hours in there. Great job guys selling me a great home theatre experience!!

We were replacing another 65", and wanted something simple, to work with our Yamaha Surround system "ARC" feature ... this TV provided a great picture, simple controls, and all the connections anyone could ever need ... the remote even ended up working all the components we were trying to use .. which was a sweet bonus.

I went from LG Plasma to this Samsung LED & am very pleased! Crystal clear, vibrant colors, sleek & slim design. The remote is awesome too with voice recognition. There are apps included as well as downloadable making this a no brainer. Paired with my sooundbar, my setup is raging!

This Samsung unit has a very stunning picture - bright and sharp as my Review Summary suggests. The sound is okay for a flat panel TV - my house uses an external soundbar and subwoofer. Aside from the sound, the picture, brightness, sharpness, rich / vibrant colors, and smooth motion make this TV a solid purchase.

I had been looking at this TV since last September and purchased when it went on close out pricing. Comparison of this TV and it's replacement are identical. Excellent Picture, Easy Set-Up. I hooked up to my home theater surround system and works Great! Get this One if you can, You won't be disappointed!!

I like Samsung. I like Best Buy. Our new TV is great. Picture quality, ease of installation. Simple remote (takes a little getting used to at first for us "seasoned individuals) ) The Bixby Voice Command is totally ew to us...but, is cool. Tell it what you and it does it. We are happy with this choice.

I was looking at both this TV and the Samsung QLED line and while comparing them I could not see much of a difference in picture quality between them and could not cost justify spending another $300 - $400 more to get into the QLED series so I purchased this TV and have never looked back on my decision.

I absolutely love this Samsung LED Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR TV! The colors are so beautiful and vivid. While watching a show, I feel like I am actually in it. This TV is easy to use and has so many additional features and options available on it. This is the best TV I have ever owned! A must have!

The picture quality is very good - stunning really. But most "A class" TVs are now. In my opinion colors are a little over saturated in the default factory settings (easily changed) but I think that is what most consumers want. The picture is crisp and the Xbox looks good in the high frame rate.

Purchased the 2017 8500 55" model first. Personally I love the curve tv's as the colors seem more vivid to me. But this tv is just as good. Awesome picture quality! You'll not be disappointed with this model. Just wish they would have kept the one cord solution from the 2017 models on the 2018 models too

Based on in-depth research of various buying guides for 4K tv’s, this Samsung set offered the best pkg of features at a decent price point, if you’re not looking to spend several grand on OLED. This unit has higher true refresh rate (120 hz vs. 60 hz upscalable), hdr compatible, dolby hdr, 4 hdmi ports, etc. You can buy larger sets for less $ but you will likely sacrifice picture quality b/c of several features I mentioned. Setup / navigation is relatively easy but has some quirks w/ sound bar & external speaker setup, and the universal remote doesn’t seem to work well with fire tv - it allows initial setup and works temporarily but doesn’t keep. So we have to use separate remotes to operate tv and streaming device, which is not a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars.

Very impressed with TV in general. Great picture, amazing colors, easy to navigate settings, and easy to change inputs. Big negative is the lack of availability of a lot of basic apps. Sure, the usual Netflix, Hulu, etc. are available but there is no access to Discovery’s app, History Channel’s app, or several kid’s apps which are useful for cord-cutters. Had to buy a Roku to access those, which was not a big deal but more of an irritation. A wider range of apps will be expected of all TVs in the future I am sure.

The TV was well packaged, assembled easily, and easy to program. The picture quality and audio is good, the only negative is the TV talks to you when you adjust the volume or channel which is very annoying, there may be a way to turn this feature off but have not figured it out at this time.

The picture is amazing on this TV and the smart features are great. It is really easy to switch between inputs. I also like that it automatically switches to game mode when my Xbox is on. The voice control features are great with the remote. Overall, this was a great buy and I got it on sale.

Replaced a 15 year old 40" Sony with a great picture, just too far away for these 80-year old eyes. The new Samsung is perfect for us in a fairly large room. Picture is fantastic and sound is pretty good. Documentation is very slim, even that on-line is apparently for all models and filled with "if installed" comments. Only down side for me so far is that turning on any external speakers/headphones turns off the TV's internal speakers. Overall, a great TV.

This TV has made our TV viewing much better. The picture is sharp and clear. The color is brilliant and shades are clearly differentiated. My husband particularly loves that he can now see the golf ball when he watches golf games.

Excellent image, good sound, minimalistic remote control takes a little time to get used to it but after that feels better than the old types, easy to connect to home WI-FI, integrated apps for streaming services make life easier. To sum up, a smart buy, we are very satisfied with it

We've had this TV for over a month now. The picture looks amazing! You can't beat how vibrant the colors are when you are watching something that was recorded in 4K. Great TV, and I personally love that you get a Rifftrax digital channel. Those guys are always good for a few laughs!

Only had the TV for a few weeks but picture improvement over my old LED is extremely noticeable. Picture was so improved it took a little while to adjust to the "look" of shows (almost so clear they looked fake). I connected the TV to my prior sound system, but the sound from the TV itself wasn't too bad on its own. Only thing that's got a little room for improvement is the navigation through the apps. I think the Amazon Firebox I no longer needed worked a little faster, and had a cleaner more navigation, but not a big deal. Good picture quality at a reasonable price.
