Functions very well and easy to navigate through the smart tv options and apps. 4K quality lacks compared to other models, but to Samsung’s defense this isn’t their top model. Caught it on sale 1st weekend November 2018. I received a better deal than Black Friday and Christmas sales by $300.

Poorly built -weak wireless card

Massive screen bleed. A small area will illuminate the entire screen, preventing needing black areas from being black. Very weak wireless card - I know what I'm doing and my network and other devices have no issues, and I've troubleshooted. Screen tearing for faming is awful. You must use game mode and decrease the image quality to prevent some of this. Screen quality is awful. The picture looks oversaturated. Unable to fix, even the BB rep. Stated it shouldn't be that way. Will update once replacement arrives.

This is a very fine TV. Colors are vivid, detail is great, and blacks are, in my opinion, almost as good as the OLED sets. In the store you can see slightly better blacks represented on a side by side comparison, but that becomes irrelevant once you get the set home. In addition, the QLED format does not appear to exhibit any tendency to ghost image burn in like the OLED has reportedly been plagued with.
Pros:
Set up is a very simple step through, and really does not require access to the built in e-manual, but it is available if you get stuck.
Using the remote is simple because there are only a few buttons to learn. And if you don't like buttons, learn how to use just one: the microphone button. It has performed everything I needed to do.
I decided to wall mount the set, and Samsung nicely included appropriate spacers for the slightly curved back.
Pricing was far below OLED!
Very good internal OTA tuner for those that want to cut the cable and use an antenna.
Smart Hub is easily accessed and the Netflix, Hulu, Web browser, and Prime apps work quite flawlessly for me
Cons:
The set does not recognize Tivo products in the connection guide/setup. Probably residual resentment on Samsung's part because of a law suit between the two companies. Should not be a problem for most folks. I run my Tivo through a Marantz Pre/Pro so I was able to work around this problem.
The ARC control evidences some problems. Enabling it and switching input sources confuses the Q6 and for a while it pops up a check source message. Sometimes this resolves itself, other times I have to do some intervention to select the correct source. This means I'm going to get some "Honey, I can't get the TV to work!" interruptions.

Huge black area right in center of tv that is growing daily. Only 1 year warranty. Need to replace and will not be considering Samsung again. The tv that we replaced was a Sony that was 12 years old and still perfect.... just upgraded for size. Poor product. See photo and the large black area in the center 1/3 of the screen that is dark.

I LIKE BRIGHT! AND MOUNT IT ON THE WALL

I really don't understand all the hype about black. I have always based my judgement of quality on monitors by rating the brightness. This TV is incredibly bright. I have always been willing to spend a little more money on a brighter monitor. Compared to anything else I've seen this TV is superior. If you always watch TV in a dark room then black is beautiful but the range of contrast is amazing. The picture is so realistic. When I went to the store I could not tell any difference from the 6F to the 9F model. The salesperson told me I should buy the 8 or 9 series QLED but I couldn't find any significant differences. The glare was a concern because the TV will be in a bright room with windows and table lamps. The stand allows you to hide the cables with this TV. (OK not optimal) I mounted this TV on the wall with a stand and with the right tilt the glare is not an issue. You can keep your OLED!

This is a fantastic TV. The picture is absolutely beautiful and the menu/Bixby system runs flawlessly. 4K comes in beautifully and you really feel immersed when watching. The overall aesthetic of the TV is great as well, the bezel is super thin and more silver and less harsh/noticeable than the Sony X900F. I paid $1699 for my 65" Q6. We picked this up from Best Buy on Prime Day (Sorry Amazon) and while shopping it was on display right next to the Q7/Q8/Q9 and their highest MU level. What did we notice? First, the MU can't hold up next to the QLED series, even when I played with the display settings. The Q6 and Q7 picture quality was identical. I began to see a slight difference in the Q8, and the Q9 obviously had the largest lead in picture and performance. That being said, the Q8/Q9 are hundreds/thousands more. Are those TVs going to be in your home? No. Only the one you buy will be. At that point we made the decision to purchase the TV we were most OK with that met a reasonable price point and picture quality.
If you are here I am sure you are searching for a TV. Are there better TVs out there? Of course. But those other TVs are hundreds if not thousands of dollars more. Is this an OLED? No. I also didn't pay $3,500 for it. People want to knock this model because its an Edge-Lit TV that isn't Full Array Local Dimming (just has the QLEDs at the bottom portion of the screen). Are you going to notice this at home? No, you aren't. You're going to see an awesome 4K display on a beautiful TV.
It's direct competitor imo? The Sony X900F, which is about $200-300 more...so should it be a little bit better than the Samsung? It better be for an extra $300. I didn't like the sluggish Android App system on the X900F, the loud black bezel, and the bulk 1980's controller it came with.
If you can pick up this TV on sale, I'd say go for it...especially around the $1600-1700 range.

I’ve had this TV for about 6 years and have never had a problem with it. It is great. I can’t believe it’s on clearance right now for a little over $300. I might buy 4 of them and put them all together on the wall, lol!

Amazing picture, lousy apps

First the good: the 4k picture is stunning. HDR and colors look fantastic. I watch a lot of football, sports look amazing with zero motion-blur. 4k Games on my Xbox One X look fantastic. Really has the best looking picture of any TV I have owned. The bad: The apps are horrible and that's really disappointing as I bought this TV with the intention of cutting the cord for cable and using streaming services since this is a smart TV. All the apps I use do not work correctly. For example, DirecTV Now was pre-installed but it's a BETA version so I can't delete it and re-install a new version of it. It crashes, it freezes, it doesn't record programs properly, it won't play recorded shows properly. I have spent countless hours with Samsung tech support and DTV tech support. Sling TV? Same deal. ESPN app? Prone to crashing, freezing. NFL Sunday Ticket? Won't load half the time, and thank God I have an Xbox One X that I can access Sunday Ticket app on there and it works fine. Now 2 things: 1) I have FIBER internet with 800 to 1000 Mbps, my internet is screaming fast so it's not the internet that's the issue. 2) I have a TCL Roku smart TV that cost me $350 in the bedroom on the same network and ALL the apps I just described having massive issues with, I don't have ANY problems with. I would think that for a TV that cost me about $2k they would have better software and apps than my $350 but that's not the case. Samsung you can do better!

My first impression of the Samsung Q6F TV was with the physical appearance; It is very thin, but it was way heavier than it looked. I would definitely recommend having two people to get this set up, especially if you plan to hang it up. I love the thin slick design and the One Connect. One plug in the back of the TV and one fiber optic line to connect from the TV to the Once Connect box. The box is the control center to the TV and other plug in attachments such as a game system and cable. No more lines to hide in the wall or cords to see. This gives the TV a very independent appearance. Not having cords down the wall is wonderful. Very smooth clean simple look. You will need a location for the One Connect box to rest upon. When turning the TV on, the moving pictures were amazing. The remote is great. I love the way it works and the way it feels. It is silver and has some weight to it when you hold it in your hand. It is not some black plastic box. Putting the batteries in is also pretty sleek. There is a slide button on the back and the batteries "pop up." Also, regarding the batteries, they are provided with the TV. The remote also has a talk feature. One of the best ways to really appreciate the color technology on the TV that we found was to search YouTube for a video to test out the "4K LED black level" We were able to find a demo video that does just that. It is truly beautiful! Very vibrant and smooth flowing colors explode across the screen. A few other features that I found that I enjoy is the e-manual that is built right into the TV. No more books to look through or get lost. It is easy to navigate and search for the information you are looking for. The ambient mode is also something that I enjoy. I work from home often and I like having the TV, but at times it can get distracting with the news and TV shows. Setting the TV to the weather or headlines on the ambient mode gives me a break to have something to look at but not get so distracted. It is also nice to use to show off the TV when you have company but are not currently watching the TV! I also like the eco sensor and screen brightness. I like that it reduces the power consumption when it is not needed. Overall, this Samsung Q6F LeDTV is very impressive. The colors are amazing and the overall design with the One Connect makes for a great TV.

The television is sleek, has tons of features, plenty of input options, easy to use and has a great picture in day light with deep blacks.
My only concern is its lack of a decent anti glare and the brightness could be better watching the television in really dark lighting.
I got this on sale and you just can't beat value for the price.
