I wouldn’t recommend this TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one connect box failed from the box. I had to repackaged the TV and return it to Best Buy. If you purchase this TV and your one connect box fails, you won’t have a picture or a working TV.

Lasted three weeks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the tv March 14th. Today is April 6th and there is a large vertical line of dead pixels on the left side of the screen. Thank god I bought the geek squad warranty for replacement. Purchase the LG OLED instead.

TV screen problem after two week.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV started showing a hair-line-thick horizontal light across the middle of the screen. Not a good start for a brand new 65" Samsung QLED TV. I hope the Geek Squad can fix the problem without seeing any more issues.

AWESOME TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.QLED is by Far the best picture I’ve ever owned. I thought plasma was a great picture, absolutely no comparison to my new Q7 65”. I know some people have to complain about the upscaling, just remember you are buying a freaking 4K TV, think about this my plasma was a 1080p this is 4X that. This tv will make all of your old Blurays jump off the screen. This tv has the normal presets for picture, but DYNAMIC IS AWESOME. My only complaint if I had one is the smart remote is not so smart. Go buy a Logitech remote to control everything at once.

Best TV Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best TV ever made. I took back my LG due to the fact that it could not give me the beautiful bright whites like this Samsung, Even after having it on the wall for over 2 months now every time we turn it on we are all simply Blown Away. If you like bright vivid colors like I do you will definitely love this set. Mush better than the oled. My parents came over and saw it and went out and bought one the next day.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV - picked it up on Black Friday - really good price break as well. Thought about this or the LG OLED (also a really good TV) but went with the Samsung for the use intended - it will always be in a bright room - so the extra black goodness of the LG would not as important. either would have been a good choice - but then i got a great price drop on the Samsung. So after 1 month i can say it has not disappointed . You really do need to change the factory settings for the picture. Once you get the settings just right, it is amazing. Totally satisfied.

Great TV, WORST customer service possible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV itself has a fantastic picture and is a solid 4 or 5 honestly. The customer service however, has been an absolute travesty of poor training and incompetence. I'd give it negative stars based on that alone. It started when I received no remote with my TV and had to call in to Samsung to get a new one sent to me. After jumping through a few hoops, they sent a new one, but it arrived in twice the amount of time I was quoted and was the wrong remote. Okay, it happens... call back in to get this issue fixed.. should be easy... Easy was the opposite of the experience. The tech kept asking me about a completely separate issue that had nothing to do with the call and I kept having to redirect them and remind them that I was calling about the remote. After being assured that I would now be sent the right remote, I had hoped for some form of faster shipping as opposed to the two week process that occurred before, but was informed that it was not possible. I buckled in for another two week wait. After two weeks, I tried calling in to check on a possible tracking number, as one was never given to me, but was met with more craziness on the other end of the line. The tech kept asking me if I was having trouble connecting the remote to the tv despite the fact that I had told him multiple times that I was calling to check on the status of my remote replacement. Eventually he told me I was supposed to have the wrong remote which I then had to talk him out of again. This is AFTER I was told that the remote had arrived and that I would have to contact UPS to get them to replace my remote instead... because they have any idea what to do with that request. Eventually I was told I would be sent the remote that is supposed to come with the Q7 but it would be another 2 weeks. After Asking for a supervisor, more than once, to see if there was some way to get the correct remote in under a month and a half, I eventually found out from a supervisor that the previous request was cancelled... No one thought to call or email or text me for any reason with regards to this issue though. It never even occurred to a customer service department to call someone after going back on their offered solution. So now I sit here, waiting for yet another remote, which isn't due to arrive till 6 weeks out from when I purchased my tv. There's a good chance I will simply try to return this television and the 4K player I purchased, but I will certainly NEVER buy another product from Samsung if this is the level of customer service they provide on their products. There are too many similarly priced televisions of comparable quality to put up with this terrible customer service. I had wanted to give it a higher rating despite the issues with the remote before this last attempt to fix the issue, but this is just too ridiculous to fully fathom at this point. If you can avoid Samsung Customer service, get the TV, it's fantastic in terms of picture quality. If you find anything missing in the box when you open it or it malfunctions for any reason out of the gate, I'd just return it and get a different brand.

Good, but has backlight problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Q7F to replace an older Samsung 7500 series based on the reputation of Samsung's displays. I set up the new unit in place of the older one and turned everything on. At first I was impressed by the color quality of the display, until I noticed vertical grey-ish areas running down the display. It appeared that they were due to unevenness in the backlighting, with some vertical areas not getting the same amount of backlight as others. I returned the first Q7F for a second one, only to find that it too had the same backlighting issues. I have now returned the second Q7F and upgraded to the Q9F (for another $1400), which unfortunately also has some issues with uneven back lighting that is distracting when viewing some scenes. I would NOT recommend the Q7F, there are issues with the backlighting and the evenness of the lighting, and I am not real happy with the Q9F's level of unevenness considering the HIGH price. I will probably end up returning the Q9F and getting either a Sony 930 or an LG C7 (or C8 if I wait till April). Up until now I have been a fan of Samsung displays, but now I think that there are some quality issues that will make me re-evaluate my brand choice.

Love QLED, Cheap remote!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 2016 QLED KS8000 ($1500) and loved it. Decided to Purchase the 2017 QLED Q7F ($2200). Very upset getting the same black plastic remote as my KS8000 when most reviews posted online show the premium metal silver remote coming with all the 2017 QLED's. I contacted Samsung and they said they would send me out the correct remote for the TV, I recieved a second black plastic remote... For a msrp $3000 TV, Samsung missed there mark for me because of a cheap remote. Otherwise the picture is amazing , and the one connect box is a great feature.

GREAT PICTURE BAD REMOTE/ TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture on this set is beautiful from most viewing areas, does have some color fading at side view . The main problem is the cheap black plastic remote that I had to replace because it didn't communicate with the tv and would not recognize duplicate numbers, as in 1121 would show 121 or 1113 would show as 13 or 1223 would show as 123. Received new remote and it is doing same thing. contacted Samsung and now waiting to see what is wrong . the remote works well on the other Samsung that I have in my bedroom it does the same thing when I manually insert the channel numbers, thinking the tv is the problem.

shuts off and on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 3 months tv started shutting off on its own. Best buy geek squad has been great though. Sending a new one connect, hope it fixes it. After reading some similiar complaints I am a little worried. The TV did look great and the fact that there is no clunky box on the back of the TV makes it a flush mount which is great. I really hope the new one connect box is a permanent fix.

Love the TV hate the problems.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have researched this TV more. There are many complaints about the TV starting to turn on and off by itself after about a month and the remote losing pairing and becoming unresponsive. Samsung does not seem to know what the problem is and can't really fix it. Gonna try one more thing with a tech and if that does not work, I'll return it!!!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q7F QLED 4K Smart TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing power cycling issue.
Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue :
1.Check the Invisible Connection Cable for damage and proper connection.
If the Invisible Connection Cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
2.Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
3.If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest Firmware. Simply click on the link and update TV with the latest version 1151.0:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2017-qled-tv-q7f-series#manuals
If the issue persists after these stpes, then the TV will need service.

Nice till it broke after 2 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice tv until it broke after two months. After one month the picture started dimming and darkening on it's own and then eventually it would turn on and off every 20 seconds making it impossible to watch. For this sort of money, one would expect better (it seems online this is a not uncommon problem with Samsung tv's). On the plus side, after an endless call with Samsung troubleshooting, they did send over a repair person within 3 days...but now we have to wait another few days for a part to show up. So, suffice to say, not happy with this tv at all.

Bluetooth on tv doesn’t work making remote usless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy stores in Jacksonville, FL and Orange Park, FL are very unhelpful. Bought a Q7 65’’ TV on 2/11/18. A month ago the the Bluetooth remote wouldn’t pair to the TV. Called Samsung and spent a weeks of them wanting send parts, then schedule a repair, then say they ant do the repair so I will be given an exchange... now to be told I will have to come out of pocket for my replacement since my TV is the QN65Q7FAMFXZA and was replaced by QN65Q7FNAFXZA. I’m not going to be forced to get a lower model TV or pay hundreds in the difference... not happening. All of this because a remote won’t pair to a TV. Ridiculous.

Beware of Samsung Customer care ( help )
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost BEWARE if you have a problem with a Samsung product. I bought this product on 1/25/18 and to my surprise I had a defective unit right out of the box. Samsung customer service is horrible. It took me 3 days and over 20 phone calls to get one person to tell me how to ship the product back. In the first 2 days of talking with Samsung customer service reps it was very evident to understand that all but one service rep were NOT on the same page. I could say this was hard to believe maybe 20 years ago, but there is no excuse in the year 2018 to have so many reps telling me something different than all telling me the same thing on a simple question. Mr Samsung please do not tell me you are sorry. Sorry doesn’t fix the problem with Samsung’s customer care unit. Again I can not Emphasize enough if anyone was to occur a problem with a Samsung product how there customer care will keep a person going in circles due to them not being on the same page. Totally inexcusable. Because of the brilliant customer care staff I will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products. Beware if you have a problem, you are dealing with a foreign company that has a horrible customer care staff.

Very fragile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you buy it- be sure you never have anyone touch it! Just putting minimum pressure to adjust it on the bracket will cause “internal” damage to your new 65” paperweight. How do you throw out a 65” piece of plastic?
